Ghidorah crashed on Earth many eons ago. Technically, Ghidorah is a Hydra from space - an alien creature whose arrival on Earth triggered a massive shift in the natural order and disrupted the Titan chain of command.
Whever Ghidorah hailed from, he was the alpha apex predator of his own territory. So, when he came to Earth, he immediately became a rival to Godzilla.
Ghidorah posesses incredible power and even defeated Godzilla initially.
Ghidorah also has a unique ability to regenerate limbs and heads when they are removed. He is also unaffected by the Oxygen Destroyer, making him a formidable foe. Pair that with the ability of flight and energy beams, Ghidorah is the toughest enemy Godzilla has ever faced.
Team Ghidorah represents a new age - an age of Titans. An ancient alpha predator, one to rival that of Godzilla, members who join this team are in favor of a new King. Join this team to dethrone Godzilla and to appoint Ghidorah as Earth's true alpha predator.
