MemberBaragonDec-10-2015 7:28 PMI want to discuss Shin-Gojira as a new charcater for the Godzilla: The Game sequel. So what we know is that Bagan is most likely to make an appearance along with other characters that were scrapped from the original. Example: King Kong or Baby Godzilla. Now Toho is coming out with a new version of Godzilla. Will this incarnation make it into the game? I definitley believe so. First off, they made the charcaters based on the S.H Monster Arts designs. Meaning we will have to wait for the Monster Arts version of Shin-Gojira to be released. I wonder what his fighting style will be (hopefully not a clone of another moveset)? What do you guys think? Will he make it in? Discuss.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-10-2015 7:50 PMthat would be pretty sick, expecile on a night map, slowing creeping up on other monsters and saying
"Hi"

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-11-2015 9:38 AMMost likely not, considering it would be a bit late, and also this Godzilla is suppose to be bigger than 2014, and we all know how big e was in the game.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-11-2015 11:26 AMI don't think they're making another Godzilla game. It was a bad game that recieved low scores a cross the board and hardly moved any copies. I wouldn't hold my breath.

MemberBaragonDec-11-2015 6:05 PM@Duratok they actually are though! Bandai Namco said that more Godzilla games will be made by them in the future! they even announced their planning for a sequel for this game

AdminGodzillaDec-11-2015 9:16 PMI thought they were just taking ideas from fans at the moment? There's no immediate plans for a future game or sequel from what I understand.

MemberBaragonDec-11-2015 10:59 PM@Gman2887 If i could find a link for you, I will do so. From what I've heard they wanted the sequel to introduce Bagan and possibl Minilla. It will take awhile, but they want to continue to make Godzilla games in the future.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-12-2015 12:46 PMThe game have thus far divided opinions. Most of them seems it like something mediocre, because the casual gamers overall don't like the how slow paced it is, the quirky controls,, the repetitive scenarios and the simplistic plot lacking of great cinematics. We the fans whom know the monsters and their behavior in the movies already understand everything and find it amusing, despite it could be better. As someone here said, it was a fan produced game made for fans; any sequel true plan it is based in how successful are the sales of the previous features, and if it already has low sales rate they will quit the idea.
But I need to say the ratings in the Ps store I saw sometime ago where quite high, but more likely because the reviewers were fans as well.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-12-2015 1:23 PMAlso it's matter about the fanbase, how popular are the franchises, and even more, the main preferences in gaming of those fans; for example Hyrule Warriors games are hyped just because the followers of Zelda series, and there are a lot. I need to say I always liked the Zelda series and for first instance I got hyped, but I am not a blind buyer so I always seek for the reviews, vids and all the stuff related about the things I could purchase before doing so. After it's release I made the usual research and I found it looked too repetitive and hollow in such many aspects that I lost all the interest on it. To date it still is wanted because the popularity of the franchise, so it served as milking cow for Nintendo with the dlc and a new port coming soon; but being picky in various aspects I need to say just pass, because it wasn't what I expected for a Zelda related game, even if it was a spin-off.
But with Godzilla in other hand... I watched and I looked at the info and I liked it, despite the evident flaws; because I am a G fan above of anything else and I already understand the monsters and how close are they portrayed to their movie counterparts, just as I quoted above. I was talking about it with friend and I told her the truth: Godzilla the game is HW in slow motion, because despite the Zelda spin-off have more scenarios, cinematics and visuals , they basically have the same core gameplay (destroy everything on sight, catch very few collectibles, etc.) and pretty hollow development and plot
I like monster movies
MemberMothra LarvaeDec-17-2016 1:22 PMA new Godzilla game with Shin Godzilla would be awesome, but I'd rather the game be fun to play. Like Godzilla Save The Earth or Unleashed
