MemberGiganAug-09-2014 6:14 PMWhat if you could make your dream Godzilla game? What would it be like?
Mine would be like a simulation, where you play as Godzilla and just destroy buildings, military vehicles, and also fight a couple other monsters. No levels or objectives; just pure destruction.
How would you make a Godzilla video game?

MemberMothra LarvaeAug-09-2014 6:40 PMMine would be a collaboration of gamemodes, I would want the campaign to be a simulation of Godzilla, but I would have the regular Godzilla fighting game in it also. And because I love strategy games I would have a second campaign were you play as humans and it's like a RTS with Tower Defense elements where you have to just strength out until an event happens where the monster goes away.

MemberMothra LarvaeAug-09-2014 9:16 PMThere would be 3 different factions: Civilians, Military and Kaiju. You could play as any one of them and become involved with their specific roles. As a civilian, you must seek safety and escape (sometimes under a time-limit). As the military, you can play as the General or a soldier on the field. As the general, you control where certain troops are ordered to go (the AI) and what their attack patterns are. Determine what weapons to use and choosing which bits of the map to purify of radiation and repair cost time and money. When the kaiju destroy the city up to 95%, the game is then over. As the kaiju, survive and possibly even mate. If you are a kaiju of high strength, the military is but a nuisance, but can be a threat to your young and can deter you during combat with other kaiju. You'd have to regain energy with radiation to move faster and, if you use an nuclear-based-weapon, regain energy for that with radiation. So there you have it!

MemberAnguirusAug-09-2014 11:48 PMIt would sorta be like missions where you do almost everything Godzilla does in the movie and you can also have a free roam mode, where you start in the water and can travel to most if not all partsof the world and cause havoc, with Godzilla, MUTOs and maybe even some classic monsters. So it would sort of be a mix of Godzilla Generations and Godzilla: Unleashed. Even after you finish the story say other MUTOs are wreaking havoc and you have to stop them. If you dont stop the the monsters from wreaking havoc, it is kinda like a Hero or Menace system. You could also go through every single Godzilla movie in story mode and also have free mode afterwards. If you dont wanna have Hero or Menace free roam, a separate mode is where there is no Hero or Menace and you can travel anywhere, destroy cities and fight monsters. ALSO, Create a Kaiju kode and Create a City mode. Create a Kaiju speaks for itself. In Create a City, you create a city that you want to destroy and you can add time limits if you want to it

MemberMothra LarvaeAug-10-2014 12:54 PMI won't type out my whole idea here, since it's pretty large and complex, but the most unique Godzilla game idea I've had (as in, not just some kind of fighting game or Peter Jackson's King Kong-style game) is an action RPG with somewhat similar gameplay to Xenoblade Chronicles (probably the best RPG of the 7th console generation, IMO) where you play as mutant soldiers that fight kaiju, like in Final Wars. I'll probably make a discussion where I go into more detail about the game at some point.

*an action RPG with gameplay sort of like a cross between Xenoblade Chronicles and Shadow of the Colossus
