With G.E. at the helm I don't think we have to worry a whole lot but that is just my opinion. Besides we don't want to wait too long either. If the wait is too terribly long the general audience may lose interest. Sometimes when movies do make a sequel it is way too late and doens't nearly make the money it could have if it would have been released years earlier. 2018 would make for plenty of time but there my be a loss in interest. Seems like the time for monster movies is now so I stick with 2016 and say strike while the iron is still hot.
