MemberMothra LarvaeNov-26-2013 8:55 AMI became a Godzilla fan after watching several movies. My favorite was Godzilla X Destotoyah, which was double sided with Godzilla X Spacegodzilla.

MemberMothra LarvaeNov-30-2013 7:45 PMah yea the reason why I like Godzilla
well It all started when i was a little boy, my father would always tell me about how huge the beast was and how incredible th monster was. When I was 8 years old my father took me to a flea market and there were 2 Godzilla films on VHS. Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla and Godzilla 1985. Godzilla 1985 scared the piss out of me when i first watched it. Then I watched Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla. I was so amazed how much fighting there is in the film i was automaticly hooked! Then later i use to rent Godzilla vs Biollante and that was the scariest movie i saw because of how monstrous Biollante is. Then I saw Godzilla 2000, and well since then i was hooked like hell.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-17-2013 4:00 PMOkay, this is how it all started for me.
It was Christmas day at my Grandma's house. Me and my sister were opening presents and my dad was fliping through the channels and landed on Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters all out attack. It started at the end battle right before Mothra died and just the look of Godzilla and King Ghidorah memerized me. After that I tryed to find but instead Godzilla: Final Wars at a movie rental store. And after I got hooked ad have loved him ever since. Now I own I the movies and am close to getting all the Monsters action figures.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-19-2013 9:49 AMFirst Godzilla film I saw was 1985. We see his vision overlooking a fog covered city and then that security guard comes out, the ground cracks beneath his feet and than we pan up to see my first glimpse of Godzilla. I was hooked for life after that.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-19-2013 8:39 PMI found giant monsters beating the snot out of eachother very appealing.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-21-2013 12:45 PMIronically, I was first introduced with the name by Godzilla 1998. I had a figure of Gino, and carried him where ever I went, and then Godzilla 2000 came! :D
I pretty much fell in love with the movie, and mostly Orga (I was around five or six when I saw it). I later on played the video games, and watched to rest of the millenium films. That's pretty much how it all started for me. :)

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-23-2013 3:18 PMWell I was about 3, and my dad took me to work with him and I saw a collection of Godzilla figures on a shelf and well I asked what those were and the guy who owned them let me have one. And since that day I still love Godzilla.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-24-2013 12:55 PMI was a kid about 5 or 6, I was playing outside when my dad called me in the house, I thought I was in trouble or something. He directed me to the TV and said "there's a movie on for you!" On the TV was a little boy playing with a gadget, using his imagination, dialing in to some place called "monster land" and suddenly the boy was there. Giant insects, bully monsters, baby Godzilla (as I came to call him), and of course, the star of them all, Big G himself. From that point on, I was hooked. Over the years, I came to dismiss Godzilla's Revenge as a series "filler" with all the stock footage and such and as I said in another post, I dont much care for the cuddly kid friendly Godzilla in this flick. But I was a small kid then and I related to the boy in the film. At that age it was magic.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-25-2013 2:09 AMI remember my dad telling me to go inside his room and he showed me a movie. He said as a kid he would watch Godzilla movies. After watching Godzilla I was hooked and learned everything I could about him. And after a while I found out about the new movie!

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-30-2013 9:25 AMYou see, where i come from there has only been six movies released. And that was in 2007. But too my luck, my uncle (R.I.P you old mofo) had them imported from the US/japan. He didnt have anything else for me to watch when i was a kid back then. So he plopped on one of the first movies i remember seeing; King Kong VS Godzilla. I was so intrigued, and saw all of his Godzilla movies. What happend to his collection is unknown. But then in 1998, i lost interest after seeing the horrible Zilla movie. I feared i would never see my Godzilla again. I was thirteen at that point. I then regained interest a few years later when i on the internet found out there was 28 movies! I had only believed there too be six-seven movies. And then three years later we got a box-set and i was back in business!
