When will Godzilla 2 end filming?

It began filming June 19th, so it's about a month and a half the way in to it. Rumor has it they will not switch to the Chinese location until around October. They're currently still in Atlanta. So they likely won't finish principle photography until later this year. This does not include reshoots.

I have a feeling that GKOTM is going to be 3 hour long film, I honestly wouldn't mind it tho.

Both Godzilla and Skull Island kept it at a pretty tight 2 hours.  Godzilla: King of the Monsters will likely follow suit. The amount/length of filming is not indicative of a movie's run time, merely a result of scheduling for actors/locations and/or complex shots.

with all these "new" MUTO's and back stories, I hope they don't give all this time to the new human characters. There is a whole new cast with there stories. I hope the Legendary learned their lesson last time and focus on what is selling tickets. K:SI did a fantastic job with both the monster fights and main character drama. I hope this will be the new trend. 

+TherizinoRex I agree. It'll probably be three hours. Godzilla 2014 was about 2 hours long or so... and there was only two monsters. Imagine how long it would take for 4 monsters! By the way, I'm new here and I'm absolutely OBSESSED with everything Godzilla!
