My Top 10 Favorites

#10 -Of course I'm going to be a huge fan. I grew up in the late 80's. But also, it's Jim Henson suitmation. If you're a Godzilla fan, you must also be a Jim Henson fan The suitmation in this film is spectacular.

I don't think I could order my top ten, much less narrow it down that specifically. I feel like top 10 lists are a bit arbitrary since tastes could change from day to day. I suppose I put the most impactful movies I've seen into some sort of list, but I couldn't promise it would be in any specific order nor would I promise it would be only 10.

Everytime I rewatch the Godzilla series my list for favorites change. Sometimes slightly sometimes big jumps depending on the timeframe. Doing a top ten movies of all time not counting G movies would be pretty hard. I'd probably realize I missed one mere moments after I posted the list, or maybe rewatched some later to find I don't like them as much. A ten list would be hard but off the top of my head 4 movies I know would be on it:

Terminator 2 Judgement day

Star Wars The Empire Strikes Back

King Kong 1933

Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

I'd have to think what way to rank them and what other movies go with them but those are 4 that came to mind immediately when I thought top ten.

I think I might be in the minority here, but I think I'll choose Godzilla's Revenge. I know it has a lot of reused footage, but watching the child use monsters in his dreams to escape his real world problems and eventually overcome them is something I think we can all relate to. It was cool seeing him grow and evenutally conquer his fears beating the bully and escaping the thieves. I don't remember much about Godzilla vs Megalon except Jet Jaguar, I don't even remember the human characters. 

Fun fact: So far Heisei is the only series with a movie that hasn't been knocked out so far beating 1 millennium, movie, 2 showas, and the Legendary movie to move on.

I doubt that trend will continue looking at the 3 movies that are left but interesting nontheless

Godzilla vs. Megalon squeaks by with a 7 to 6 vote over Godzilla's Revenge.
