What Are Your Favorite Sounds In The Godzilla Series?

BIOLLANTE1989 - Hahaha! What a fun topic! Hmm...I would have to say (and I know it is silly) that one of my favorite sounds within the Godzilla series are Godzilla's footsteps - especially from the original 1954 film and Godzilla vs. Biollanmte! :)

I really like Godzilla's footstep sounds from Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah, Godzilla charging up his atomic breath in Godzilla(2014), and the Muto's roars.

The roars of the monsters, the sounds of the energy attacks (such as the Atomic Ray or Gravity Beams), the sounds of maser, laser and cannonfire and the explosions made from falling buildings, wasted mechs and dying monsters.

That boat siren that goes off in the background in scenes near docks in a lot of the Showa movies.

If ANYONE out there actually knows what I'm talking about, giant, radioactive brownie points to you! XD

Great topic. I like how you have titles for each of your selections. I know that some of these of the sounds from the series exist on cd, though I wish there was a way for us to put together a request list and eventually bring it to an actual cd. 

Some of my favorites are Godzilla's roar, Anguirus' roar, Rodan's roar, Ghidorah's roar from GMK, and Godzilla's footsteps in Godzilla 1985.

Most of my favorite sounds come from the 1960s: King Ghidorah's roars, the Xian saucers, King Ghidorah's gravity beams, the A-Cycle Light Ray Gun, Gaira and Sanda's roars, etc. Really creative sounds.

I didn't like how three of the Heisei Godzilla monsters had Rodan's roar: King Ghidorah, Battra and Rodan of course. Then SpaceGodzilla had a slowed down Gigan roar which didn't really work. It needed something deeper I think.

Well, to be fair, Gigan's roar is Ebirah's sped up with an added mechanical background.

Anyways, my favorite sounds have to be Ghidorah's 2002 roars (love they have the 1960's roars, yet updated it accordingly), Baragon's 2002 roars (no more Varan duplicates for him!), the MUTO's unique clicks and screeches, Titanosaurus' cackles......

Heck, I can't really think of a sound I DON'T enjoy from the franchise. XP
