Godzilla vs Bagan?

Normally I'd say the concept of Bagan appearing in a film at this point is ridiculous, however the fact that Bandai Namco name-dropped Bagan for the sequel to the new Godzilla video game shows two things. Toho hasn't completely forgotten about Bagan, and Toho seems to be testing the waters for fans' receptions of him. The entire reason Bagan was included as the final boss for Super Godzilla was because Toho believed he was going to be used in an upcoming film and wanted to give a sneak peak of him. Perhaps Toho wants to do something similar for the new video game. For better or worse, fans love talking about Bagan and often dream about seeing him realized in a film. I'm sure Toho realizes this and it is possible they may consider including him.

At this point though, Bagan's very concept and his design are hardly original and he may not be the best fit for the series. If they do decide to use Bagan at any point, I'd prefer to see his original totem creature design than the generic giant horned beast. I'm not totally against using Bagan, but I think Toho could still do better.

I will lose all hope for this film if Bagan makes it in.

HEISEIKING - Bagan is neat; but I don't know if he's got the right stuff to make a heavy impression upon film-goers. That being said, I'm certain Toho know what they're doing! :)

i say its possible. they have been trying to get that dang monster in a movie for so long and now they have a chance to do it. hopefully they actually get it done so we can just get it over with already

Man, this would be the perfect opportunity to FINALLY get Bagan in a film!  If its a story that supports another monster, Toho wants to introduce a new character instead of revive an old one, and they can do it in a successful way, than I say bring it on!

(Just watch Bagan nearly make it into the script, and hen get cut again. XD )

I don't dislike Bagan and don't see where all of this animosity towards him is coming from, but I'd like to think there's a reason why Toho decided to scrap him from so many films. If he was the great monster that Toho wanted to feature in a film, they would have done it by now. A good portion of his design has already been adapted into Destoroyah's, while his origin was lossely adapted into Battra and Death Ghidorah's. If Toho decides to use Bagan, they need to change him. I'd personally like to see his Totem design from his first proposed appearance because it's an interesting concept and looks more original than his most well-known design.

YES!! Give Bagan a movie so people will stop asking for him to be in a movie. Every time a movie or game is brought up Bagan is talked about. Time to just use him and be done with it.

I wouldn't mind Bagan as long as it isn't a Godzilla vs. Bagan movie if that makes sense. (He could be in it but have a Baragon from GMK type role). If this is a direct sequel to the original (I'm pretty sure it will be), then why bring in Anguirus? Obviously I'm a little bias but him, or Gamera (or both) would be a dream come true

Hell, for all we know it could be what yoshimitsu banno planned, Godzilla vs hedorah 2. I like Bagan but quite frankly i don't care if he gets a movie or not. I just hope that this is a godzilla movie that is serious and i wouldn't care if he is by himself in this movie. I hope for the best for this movie and that it helps keep things going again in Japan.

I wish Bagan made an appearence somewhere. He's such a bad-ass looking kaiju.
