I can't vouche for the G-Fans that like Jet Jaguar, I can only speak for myself.

I like him because he's a fun, silly character that shouldn't be taken too seriously. I love his incredibly simple motivations, "That's a bad thing, I'm going to get huge and punch it now". To me he's the epitome of all that is great and terrible with the showa series.

He was a lot of fun in the last-gen Godzilla fighting games, and that re-sparked my interest in the character. He's a real badass in 'Rulers of Earth', that's for sure.

His only power is flashing his eyes? I'm pretty sure growing to titanic proportions is a pretty cool power.

I think most people like him ironically.

Yes he was created to cash in on the success of Ultraman and other toku superheroes. Yes he's goofy looking. Yes his powers are kinda strange. Yes his entire existance was built on the predication that more kids would come see the movie at the time.

And yes all of these reasons are so asinine it's worth enjoying him for.

Duratok, he only has 2 sizes in the movies Human size and Godzilla size, so he isn't tall compared to other monsters

To be honest, I'm not that big of a fan of him. I can get why people like Jet though, he's a fun dude.

What really bugs me about him is that he looks way too much like the Green Goblin from the first Spiderman movie:

Not sure who these "everyone" you speak of are. For the most part I don't find most people that fond of him.

I personally don't like him that much. I find him a little too campy (for the Showa series anyways) and had little to do. Though some people might like a certain Legendary Origin I'm planning. ;)

How can you not like a gaint robot character that has an attack called "Drunken Monkey?"  Yes, that is one of his attacks from Save the Earth.

I don't mind him, he does have a weird facial expression but I would like to see an updated version if him with less colors and less creepy smile. Maybe a Jaeger tribute to him would be cool; you listening Del Toro?

Maybe just a reference to him in Pacific Rim, like a Jaeger named Jaguar or something.

But other than his theme song, I'm not that into Jet Jaugar, and I question why he's in the new Godzilla game.

i just think jet jaguar is hilarious, stupid yes, but i like to laugh at him, and that is why i like jet jaguar.

I like him in the games because Ive always thought of him as the captain falcon of the Godzilla games. In the movies he's kinda meh.

I mean, quite honestly i never really cared for jet jagguar.
