I love how more people are interested in the soundtrack portion of films (I seemed to be the only one, back in the day), but seriously, give other people a chance, will you? X)

^I wonder. Would it help / be more fair if the winner couldn't play the next round? I've been thinking of ways to even the playing field a bit and I'm open to any suggestions. I want it to be fun and accessible to other members, but I don't want to cut out "The Elites" in the process. You know?

Eh, I'm not against that idea. Whatever you can do to make it more interesting without making it unfair to anyone.

That might work.  Or The King of the Monsters and I could just agree to bow out for a few rounds to let some other people answer!  I'd be willing to if he would!  I apologize if it looks like we've been monopolizing the game. :( I don't want to continuously keep other people from participating.

If you have any objections or alternate ideas don't hesitate to speak up. I'm not above changing the rules in the middle, but you have problems with the idea I think its fair for the current first place guy to give his two cents.

I don't necessarily want you guys to simply bow out for awhile, I don't think that's fair either. You two are simply more invested in the scores of the franchise than others, clearly. I'm more interested in encouraging more members to submit guesses without resigning themselves to believing you or KOTM have it no matter what.

Granted a lot of these are tricky, but that's sort of the point. You learn something from it regardless. I love how GorillaGodzilla throws down a guess no matter what. In a sense it takes some balls to challenge the game like that. I hope other members drop their proverbial testicles as well-- Pardon the crude wording.

If you guys think the winner sitting out the next round is acceptable, we'll go with that. Lets get a few more members to consider it and I'll make it part of the rules.

I'm not demeaning you guys or anything (forgive me if it sounded like that), I'm just saying to let the post breathe for a little bit before answering. Give other folks a try before taking it in, you know? (By the way, again I applaud you on your knowledge of all these tracks. Not a lot of people out there can home in on a soundtrack's origin just by listening to it.)

Yes, that sounds like a marvelous idea. Although, we'd have to take into account the point distribution system. Would it be if one were to get at least 1 point or if one would guess the entire set would the rule come into play?

Good question. It might just come down to multiple members sitting out the next round. I'm not entirely sure how I feel about that. I'm open to alternatives.

I'm fine with anything you choose to do to make the game more competitive and accessible, as long as it doesn't put anyone at a significant disadvantage.

Well all right then. If multiple people get the answer right they sit out the next round and are back in for the next. We'll try this for a little while. If it doesn't work, we'll figure out something else.

Even though one cant post next match, Danzilla will be able to post then, and Danzilla and KOTM both rapidly refresh the page so nonetheless people wont be able to win most round unless they repeatedly refresh the page.

I don't repeatedly refresh the page. I stopped doing that after like round 5. I just happened to check in and see a new challenge on this topic.
