Mecha Rodan
MemberMothra LarvaeJul-28-2014 8:12 AMRodan appearances: Rodan, Ghidora the Three-Headed Monster, Destroy All Monsters, Godzilla vs MechaGodzilla 2,Godzilla Island, Godzilla Final Wars.
Rodan is a giant browinsh red skinned pterosaur. He is slightly taller than the male Muto but doesn't have and arms. To keep himself safe Rodan relies on flying fast and then ramming into enemies, jabbing his beak into foes, and his radioactive beam. His radioactive beam is a weaker form of the atomic breath that Godzilla uses but has a extremely longer range making Rodan the sniper of the Kaiju world.(imagine Godzilla is losing the fight against Ghidorah and then Rodan blows a head of him) Rodan also has a limited amount of radioactivity so his body isn't use to large amounts of radiation but if he does then he turns into Fire Rodan. When he become Fire Rodan he glows red and his radioactive beam gets stronger. So why does Rodan help Godzilla? Godzilla is strong but he can be overpowered so Godzilla's woud lets Rodans tag along so that they both can protect each other. After Godzilla went to the water and left Rodan he decded to live in a dormant volcano where most monsters would not live. He was only awakon from the shaking of the ground next to the volcano he was sleeping in.
Time for voting! The last monster was Orga and his vote was Vote 1. Todat for Rodan here are the 2 images. Also I would like to hear from the people from Cimic Con which vote is more like the one they saw.

MemberMothra LarvaeJul-28-2014 8:23 AMI vote For N.1, good origine story, but rodan shouldn't use his uranium beam untill he becomes FireRodan

MemberMothra LarvaeJul-28-2014 8:46 AMI also vote for N.1, The other one looks too bulky to fly and be fast. I think rodans unranium beam should be more like a projectile to make him more like a sniper kaiju!

MemberGiganJul-28-2014 9:11 AMI thought thse wore suppose to be how a monster would fit into the nw Legendary universe. This is more of just there abillitys! I thought it was suppose to be origins not abillitys. Like where the monster came from how they got there what they would have to be like and look like! Im very disappointed in this its almost as i you didnt put any care into it. You can do much better for origins than this!
Good grief.

MemberGiganJul-28-2014 9:39 AMI like this, but it didn't really explain the origin.

MemberMothra LarvaeJul-28-2014 12:26 PMSorry guys, I have been trying to post this several times and each time it got a little sloppier. There was also the problem of that he is just a pterosaur. Mothra is coming up.

MemberBaragonJul-28-2014 12:49 PMI'll go with picture 1. I'm personally not a big fan of the Rodan species having a close relationship with the Godzilla species. In both movies that introduced Godzilla to Rodan they spent the movie fighting only joining forces under certain circumstances. I think they should continue to have this rivalry in the new one, hopefully with the same effect Ghidorah the 3-headed monster had with them being fairly even in stregth, as the Rodan vs Godzilla fights are always good ones.
And Rodan was also in Monster Zero you seemed to miss it when you were listing him movies.

MemberMothra LarvaeJul-28-2014 3:37 PMThey should have a realistic and animal like relationship! in this new series godzilla is a naturally occurring animal species of a reasonably high level of intelligence but not enough to form an "alliance" and I would think the same of Rodan too.

MemberMothra LarvaeJul-28-2014 6:00 PMI vote for vote 2, though I could come up with a better design then that. Also at least you tried to make a good orgin story i'll give you credit for that. But just like the mothra one I just don't like these two orgins. Next up is gidorah.

MemberGiganJul-28-2014 6:40 PMI prefer the first, but I wouldn't mind the second if it was thinner.
