Would you like it if Gojira's design was modified to be 100% possible?

That's a question I've been asking myself for some time now. Assuming one could design a Gojira to be completely possible... or at least theoretically possible would fans (such as yourselves here at the forum) want to watch a movie with this design?

Granted, he wouldn't be tall enough to topple famous buildings in one try. However, I do see enough real life/theoretical stuff that a decent Gojira could be made with most of his traits intact. He'd just be like 65' tall or so in height.

An alternative option to a 100% plausible Gojira design is to make him an ocean bound creature. Whales, fish, and prehistoric marine reptiles have all enjoyed being massive thanks to being ocean bound. The ocean can support their weight, not to mention the super heavy Navy ships such as those Battleships; Aircraft Carriers; and possibly a few submarines.

This design would allow for a 100+ foot long monster, but the catch would be he'd never be able to be on land. This could be his biggest weakness.

Approximately nothing about Godzilla is possible, so no, I wouldn't watch such a film because it wouldn't exist. What you've suggested would be less of a "Godzilla" than Zilla was.

@LINKZILLA: Zilla was a biological opposite to Gojira. If we pretend I was the one to make a plausible Godzilla concept... I'd make sure it's as close to the original design/concept AS POSSIBLE. I'd find a way to have an Atomic Breath (even if it's the 180 million degree Fahrenheit temprature and Nuclear Radiation) and making him a juggernaught (new material makes up the scales, allowing him to withstand modern nukes).

I watch Godzilla because he's not possible. I'd prefer him stay fantastical. Complete realism has no place in the genre and sounds like a boring way to go about future entries.

I feel like people are fascinated with Godzilla because he is impossible. I remember not too long ago, someone tried making a scenario about surviving a Godzilla attack, and they tried to make it as realistic as possible. As a result they scaled him down, and changed certain aspects of him to make it biologically plausible. The amount of backlash was horrible. The person re-did the topic just to make people happy. I'd be interested to see the concept, but I feel like it'd be, as in one Godzilla movie was said, a combination of a stegosaurus and a T-rex.

I remember that, NerdyBandGeeks. In fact, I was one of the ones to point out the fallacies and faulty holes in his post, since he was arguing that the creature would've been Godzilla, when we know that wouldn't be Godzilla in that scenario anyways. Besides....... it's like with Marvel movies. Almost nothign that happens in them can actually happen, yet people love just that, because the way they show it off is just right.
