Graphic Novel Teaser

With the announcement out of the way, this would be my first teaser for the story. I figured that it'll be nice to hear opinion or questions until the graphic novel gets released, so I apologize if this makes it look heavily overhyped. However, responses matter to me, so I'll keep posting updates if anyone is interested. Samples of the artwork will also be shared for review purposes.

“About… An hour during… the ‘death ash’ we spotted the fins… We thought it was a group of tiger sharks, they’re quite common over the warmer waters you see, but… Masaji noticed that they were swimming too fast, that’s what drew our attention. The… fins started gaining momentum and rose and rose, to the point they looked like teeth and spears coming out of the water, for a while it was almost as if they would never stop. It was almost as if an entire mountain or the sea bed was elevating out of the ocean. And then we saw the face, and the arms, it was walking over the reefs in the shallow waters… Heading towards the “pikadon” dozens kilometres west. And the noise it made… [Pauses uncomfortably] Later that night Yamamoto and I tried to discuss what we saw, and we couldn’t. We couldn’t believe. It was a dream, it had to be a dream. We thought no further of it, and we left for Yaizu when Matashichi began vomiting the day after.”
