AdminSpaceGodzillaJun-25-2014 8:19 AMBefore Godzilla 2014 news was was flooding the net, I used to post a ton of "vs." topics on here and on our Facebook page. Since Godzilla news has died down a bit, I thought I would kick start our "Weekly Godzilla Debates" once again.
As usual, many of the topics are inspired by artwork I find online. This one, is of the Gamera villain, Gyaos and Godzilla. So, if the two ever crossed paths who do you think woud win?
Since everyone is probably going to say Godzilla, throw in a MUTO into the mix. If Gyaos was to face off against the MUTO, who do you think would win then as well?

2 MUTOS vs Gyaos, if the male can ground Gyaos the female will just pummel him to death

MemberMothra LarvaeJun-25-2014 8:31 AMGodzilla would definitely beat Gyaos, but the Gyaos could beat the Muto (and be Muto I assume you are referring to the Winged Muto), because Gyaos with it's laser beam could slice Muto's wings and decapitate him with that. Amazing artwork.

However, I think the Mutos (if seperated) are weaker compared to Gyaos. The Winged Muto would probably be taken down somewhat easily. However, I think the female Muto can defeat Gyaos. :)

MemberGodzillaJun-25-2014 12:50 PMCHRIS PICARD - I've a feeling that Gyaos would defeat the MUTO in short order - though not without sustaining some amount of injury. I can't help but wonder what - if any - effects the MUTO's EMP blast would have on Gyaos' beam attack. The MUTO's ability to harness EMP has always struck me as a potential defensive mechenism - perhaps negating other monsters' abilities to use enery-based attacks for a short time. Regardless, Godzilla would likely exploit any injuries Gyaos had sustained in the aforementioned brawl and swiftly take care of his flying - and breathing - problem! :)
