Ever been in a relationship with someone that also loves Godzilla?

I wouldn't say my girlfriend is a "huge fan," but she enjoys a handful of them and respects the craft. Particularly the older movies. That's good enough for me.

I've never dated a woman period. In 1rst-2nd grade, girls would make up a disease similar to cooties and said I had it as an excuse to avoid me. I one day intend to find a girl as nerdy as I am. Or at least one who loves Godzilla as much as I do. Until then. I'm single. And a bit lonely on the inside. Oh well, at least I have friends. I wish I had a girlfriend though.

I'm single, wish I had girlfriend thats also likes this sorts of stuff, not asking for one that is a godzilla fan or is in to this stuff but would be nice all the same.  But on the plus side at least it doesn't bother that much now exuss me while I cry in a coner about my non existent love life. Man I wish my girl liked Godzilla enough to want to watch the films lol. She'll tolerate the throwback suitzilla but she's a modern gal so I got her looking forward to the new film next month, I'll put that in the win column >:]

Not LOVE like a fan, but enjoys it atleast. She likes pretty much all the other stuff I do since we are both artists in one way or another.

Where I live, no one even knows who Godzilla is. Sad story :'(

Hopefully this movie will put Godzilla back on the map and with a new found appeal to what I can only imagine will be a larger audience. Gone are the days of the infamous man in a suit jumping around like a mascot for a college football team.

My girlfriend watches them for me, she enjoys them but doesn't salivate over them like I do. She (much like me mom does with my dad's animes) watches them with me because she cares about me :D

Okay, I'm 15 ans I'm going out with a girl called Leah. She tolerates it but she does come to the cinema to watch my movies an DVDs because she is just perfect so yes I am very happy with who I'm with and how that effects godzilla! haha

I suck at getting a girlfriend. But if I did have one... it would be a miracle if she did like godzilla because the only place I find G fans is online...AND I LIVE IN JAPAN! THE SOURCE OF GODZILLA

Odd topic, if I must say, but yes. My current significant other is actually quite enthralled by Godzilla.

Whenever she sees his movies she moves her arms as if she's walking like him as well. It is pretty bizarre, both of us being 17, and yet we act like kindergarteners who are obsessed with dinosaurs.

To all the single people, why the depressing posts? Everyone has someone waiting out there. Get off your behinds and find 'em!

Devianteist, I also do that. I sometimes move my arms like Godzilla and walk like Godzilla while watching a Godzilla movie. I sometimes open my mouth when he roars or uses his Atomic Breath. And you're right. There is someone out their for all of us. I just wish I could find that one person.

I also keep my eyes open. But for me, finding a female who has the same interests as me (Godzilla, Gamera, Alien, Predator, etc) or is a least a Godzilla fan is like finding a needle in a hay stack.

I can see why. I've been ridiculed (hope I spelled that right) for liking Godzilla. I'm pretty sure there aren't any female Godzilla fans in my town. Or at least any open Godzilla fans, who aren't afraid of being made fun of for liking Godzilla, like I am. I'm pretty sure I'm the only hardcore Godzilla fan in my town. Though I'm getting my two best friends more interested in Godzilla. One's more interested than the other. Both want to see the new movie. One day I will find that one woman.

As a Godzilla and comic nerd I never really fully express it openly with my friends. Once I started dated my girlfriend she would openly show that she would enjoy what I enjoy with me.

When I have a bad day or if we just want to sit and spend time together she'll throw the suggestion to pop in a Godzilla movie and watch it together. She just bought her own Godzilla T-shirt last week. I'm VERY lucky to have her. Been together for 2 years. Her fav. G film btw is G vs. Monster Zero
