What would you like to see S.H. MonsterArts do next?

Gamera is a giant, flying, fire breathing turtle. He is the guardian of the universe and the friend of all children. He was created by another movie company (whose name I forgot) to rival the success of Toho and their movie monster, Godzilla by targeting the younger audience of children. Many have wished for a crossover movie where the two fight each other. The Showa era was a little childish, but the Heisei era was really good, though it was only 3 movies. Gamera is purely a good guy whose only allies are the people of earth. He has had no monster allies to date that I can think of. I recomend you watch Gamera the Guardian of the Universe. That was my first Gamera movie and it is a very good movie.

That would be intersting and awesome for an S.H. Monsterarts Gamera and Zilla Jr from (God)zilla: the series.

I could go on and on about the 90's Gamera series. Any kaiju fan should give that trilogy a try as in my opinion they dominated the hesei Godzilla films with the exceptions of 85 and Biollante.

Basically I'd say stay away from the original series. It's basic monster on the loose awakened by nukes. All the sequels for no reason really explained he protects children from cheap looking monsters. The first series mainly follows annoying child characters and spends way too much time with scientists/military EXPLAINING EVERY SINGLE THING.

The second series reworked his origin. Atlantis created Gyaos creatures which became a big threat to them and had to engineer Gamera ( They've tried before, making many prototypes of Gamera) to defeat the Gyaos. So when the Gyaos awakens so does Gamera to save the world like he was programed to do. The three films are written so well with great characters and for the time AMAZING sfx. Seriously look up the battle of Shibuya from Gamera 3, my favorite scene in a kaiju film ever.

After that series they made Gamera: the Brave, a standalone film that actually belongs in the original series from what I've gathered. Just way to cute for my taste.

The Gyaos were also in the original series. They are basicly bird like creatures similar to Rodan. They are nocturnal, hate sunlight, fire a sonic lazer from their mouths which can cut clean through steel and they have a taste for human flesh. Gyaos was Gamera's most popular enemy in the orignial series and the most common amongst the films. They rebooted him as Gamera's mortal enemy in the second series. There is a famous scene in the original Gamera vs Gyaos and Gamera the Guardian of the Universe movies where Gyaos derails a train, tear a single car from the rest of it and eat the passengers inside. When I was younger, I sometimes had nightmares about Gyaos after watching a Gamera movie with Gyaos in it.

Zilla looks fantastic, and would greatly benefit from a fully poseable figure that SHMA is known for.

There's probably over 20 other monsters and Godzilla designs I'd rather see come from S.H. Monsterarts before they even think about GINO. Feelings for the movie aside, I'd rather have Show King Ghidorah, Baragon, Godzilla '84, Godzilla '75, GMK King Ghidorah, Angirus '55 and many, many more.

Gamera I'm totally onboard for though.

@Gman2887- You make a nice point. The others really do deserve toys before the Zillas.

@DopePope- I remember seeing those in your thread showcasing your work. I really like the work you put into them, though, I'll have to say, they all look a little... Strange, to me. Then again, as I pointed out, I am only vaguely aware of what Gamera is, so that could explain that.

@Something Real- Well of course Baragon is! He's so cute! Might I mention that, in GMK, I prefer the roar he has there?

uhhh.... i really dont care if they did a gamera sh monsterarts figure but it would be nice to see one.

i will agree with everyone here the gamera series had better effects, and better storytelling with that series but they still did not make the money at the box office like the heisei godzilla films did, of course during then and even now everything is all about making money.

this world has changed alot and i dont like it to much money for gas, taxes keep rising....

When is this all going to end? ill never know.

@Something Real- I'm fairly sure there is someone on DeviantART would be more than happy to accept a commission to make a plushie Baragon. Not only would you have one, but you'd also be the only person who does have one. Unless, of course, Japan has one hidden away within that colorful country it is.

@BigBadBen- Not entirely sure where economics came into this, but I will have to agree that gas prices are insane. As for taxes, however, I do not quite mind them. Mostly due to the fact that, in other countries sadly, health care can be provided freely because of higher taxes. Obviously, not the case of the U.S. (I don't have a doctor or a dentist because I cannot afford them). _{^{Land of the free. Pff. Not anymore.}}

@G-Fan2000- That would be interesting. I still need to figure out who/what those things are, though. Thanks again DopePope for the images and names.

GojiHunter14- Your username is bold. How many Gojis have you hunted down so far? Also, an Orga would be pretty sweet. _{^{Even though he looks like a mentally disabled Blastoise.}} As for the others, I'm hands down in agreement with that.

I want a freakin' Orga figure for God sakes! With a switchable mouth, fully articulated fingers, and a little UFO or Millennian! :D

Gamera '96/'99 would be welcomed editions. And, holy hell, a Legion would be as impressive, if not more so, than a Biollante.

I would really love to see them do a quality Predalien to go along with Wolf. I would also love to see the MUTOs. I'd buy all of this if they made them. 

It would also be wonderful for them to do the Queen alien.
