What type of stories do you all like?

Just because one movie is garbage doesn't mean another one isn't. I'll give the 1998 disaster this much, it's an intriguing movie for the first act, but it falls to pieces and becomes a tonal nightmare once the setting shifts to New York.

Like I said, all it takes is rewriting how Jonah and his troops release the monsters. Plot hole fixed easily.

And although the rest of the movies may not sound as interesting to you as King of the Monsters, it's still hard to compare it to any movie you have yet to see in the series if it's the only one you have watched. There's 35 movies in total. If you call it the best and that's the only one you've seen, it doesn't give you a lot of credence.

What makes kotm better than 98 is that Godzilla looks like Godzilla.

Have you seen the 1998 movie?

I liked Godzilla 1998 from what I remembered back in the late 90's and early 2000's. I never saw the 1999 cartoon based on it. 

Side note: I really like Godzilla1998's design, I even have a Godzilla1998 piggy bank

I am more so oriented towards Origins and or Action. KoTM was a perfect balance between action and talking. And oh boy was it hard on the action. Loved how they kept the alien origin of Ghidorah.

That's probably why Mad Max Fury Road is gonna be my all time favorite movie. So-Much-Action, and the score was amazing.

I know Gman is gonna disagree with you the balance of talking and action. I agree on this because most of the audience did not come to watch people do things, they came to watch kaiju fight

If you look at the bottom of Godzillas shoe, you can see the Nike symbol. Thus, the shoes are custom made godzilla Nikes

actually Tristar Godzilla/Godzilla98/Zilla is based off an allosaurus mixed with a raptor with an iquana's head

I don't like the design.

I thought it was pretty neat design when it first came out on the heels of the dinosaur turning point that was Jurassic Park. It tried to update Godzilla's design to be inline with modern dinosaur depictions but sadly the story fucked itself by explaining he is a mutant iguana rather than a mutant dinosaur.

Just because they are both reptiles doesn't mean Iguanas and theropod dinosaurs are the same type of reptiles. Dinosaurs are archosaurs which have scrutes rather than overlapping scales like lepidosaurs such as snakes and lizards

Legendary's design is probably the best looking as it gets better with each movie.
