Godzilla Wars: Aftermath- Chapter 20

     Godzilla watches as his allies fought Monster X, Destoroyah, and SpaceGodzilla. He sees SpaceGodzilla telekinetically push Mothra and Battra together before throwing crystals at them. Both Divine Moths are killed in the attack, fueling Godzilla’s rage. He roars furiously at the monsters, firing a slightly red version of his Atomic Breath at SpaceGodzilla.

     All three monsters stare at Godzilla before Destoroyah flies at him. Fire Rodan fires a couple blasts of his Uranium Heat Beam, but they only slow Destoroyah down a bit. Godzilla fires his Atomic Breath again, but Destoroyah is relatively unaffected. It closes its tail pinchers around Godzilla’s neck and pulls him to the ground. Destoroyah shocks the King of the Monsters before Anguirus curls into a spiky ball and tosses himself at Destoroyah. The spiky carapace hits Destoroyah, who grunts in pain.

     Destoroyah fires a powerful blast of its Micro-Oxygen Beam at Anguirus, who roars in pain. Destoroyah fires the beam again before Godzilla fires a long, powerful blast of his Atomic Breath, burning Destoroyah’s tail pincher. Wincing in pain, Destoroyah faces the King of the Monsters. However, Fire Rodan swoops in and tears off Destoroyah’s tail pincher with his sharp talons. Shrieking in pain, Destoroyah fires his Micro-Oxygen beam at Fire Rodan. SpaceGodzilla telekinetically freezes Fire Rodan before Destoroyah fires his beam again.

     Suddenly, Anguirus leaps out from the ground and leaps onto SpaceGodzilla. He bites and tears at the creature before leaping off. As Anguirus prepares to attack again, SpaceGodzilla fires his Corona beam at Anguirus. However, doing this, he released his grip on Fire Rodan, who fires his Uranium Heat Beam at SpaceGodzilla. Before SpaceGodzilla can turn around, Monster X fires his Gravity Beams.

     Godzilla winces in pain as Destoroyah jabs his neck with its spiky fingers. Just as Destoroyah fires his Micro-Oxygen Beam, Godzilla fires a short blast of his Atomic Breath at Destoroyah’s chest. Shrieking in pain, Destoroyah flails its arms at Godzilla. The King of the Monsters fires a more powerful blast at Destoroyah’s chest, heavily weakening him. Looking past his weakened enemy, Godzilla surveys his surroundings.

     The King of the Monsters watches as Anguirus and Fire Rodan fight SpaceGodzilla and Monster X. As Anguirus curls into a spiky ball and tosses himself at Monster X, SpaceGodzilla telekinetically grabs him just as he hits Monster X. SpaceGodzilla telekinetically throws Anguirus at Fire Rodan before firing his Corona Beam at both of them. Roaring in fury, Godzilla feels his core temperature spike.

     Godzilla roars in agony as a burning sensation erupts in his skin. All of it finally got to him- rage, sorrow, enduring beams, punches, bites, and slashes, and primarily the exposure to radiation from fighting and being around so many monsters for so long. The King of the Monsters lets out a roar of pure rage as his eyes briefly turn white. He was now a fiery destroyer, Burning Godzilla.
