Godzilla Wars: Aftermath- Chapter 18

     Godzilla was still half asleep when the first attack came. He feels a sharp pain in his shoulder as a buzzing sound fills his ears. Grunting in pain, Godzilla sees Chainsaw Gigan turn around. However, Mothra flies at it. Chainsaw Gigan swings its double-pronged chainsaws at Mothra, who avoids them. She tears one of its wings, making it slightly more difficult for Chainsaw Gigan to fly.

     Screeching, Chainsaw Gigan lands. Looking around for a moment, it’s soon attacked by Fire Rodan. He fires his Uranium Heat Beam, damaging another one of Chainsaw Gigan’s wings. However, Chainsaw Gigan fires its Cluster Light Beam at the giant pterosaur. Screeching in pain, Fire Rodan falls to the ground.

     Sensing his ally in pain, Anguirus quickly charges Chainsaw Gigan. It quickly sees Anguirus approach, and swings its chainsaws at him. However, Anguirus avoids them. Standing on his hind legs, Anguirus slashes Chainsaw Gigan. As Anguirus slashes Chainsaw Gigan again, the cyborg blocks his attack with its chainsaw hands. It blocks a few more of Anguirus’s attacks before slashing one of its arms. Winching in pain, Anguirus watches Godzilla charge in.

     The King of the Monsters fires his Atomic Breath at Chainsaw Gigan, who retaliates with its Cluster Light Beam. Taking a few steps forward, Godzilla whips Chainsaw Gigan with his tail. Stumbling to the side, Chainsaw Gigan screeches as Godzilla grabs the long horn on its head. Godzilla pulls the head to the side and slashes Chainsaw Gigan’s neck. Wires and chunks of metal fall to the ground as Godzilla attacks his enemy. Eventually, Chainsaw Gigan hits Godzilla with its tail, causing Godzilla to let go.

     As Chainsaw Gigan slashes Godzilla, Battra flies in and grabs Chainsaw Gigan’s tail. He uses his Electric Grab just as Chainsaw Gigan notices him. Screeching in pain, Chainsaw Gigan eventually shakes Battra off, who then uses his Prism Beam. Gigan fires its Cluster Light Beam, forcing Battra to the ground. However, as Gigan prepares to fire again, King Caesar steps in, and causes the beam to reflect back to Chainsaw Gigan.

     The two stare at each other for a moment before Chainsaw Gigan charges. King Caesar roars in pain as Chainsaw Gigan slashes him multiple times. Godzilla tries to step in, but a squadron of Maser jets and Xilien fighter ships stop him. As Chainsaw Gigan fires the disks from his chest, Gorosaurus kangaroo kicks King Caesar out of the way. The titanium disks hit Gorosaurus, causing him to fall to the ground, roaring in pain.

     Gorosaurus quickly gets back up and bites one of Chainsaw Gigan’s arms. He tears at it, wincing as Chainsaw Gigan’s free arm slashes him. Eventually, Gorosaurus tears off the arm, and tosses it at Chainsaw Gigan. However, the cyborg inserts Gorosaurus’s neck through the chainsaw prongs. Gorosaurus quickly headbutts Chainsaw Gigan’s visor, cracking it. The other creatures watch as Gorosaurus is quickly killed by the chainsaws.

    Godzilla roars in fury as Chainsaw Gigan releases Gorosaurus’s body. Fearing for his life, Chainsaw Gigan quickly flies off. However, before he can retreat into the foggy mist, Godzilla, Fire Rodan, Battra, and Godzilla Junior fire their beam attacks at it. Chainsaw Gigan explodes in the air, and the pieces fall into the ocean, never to be seen again.

    Roaring in victory, Godzilla watches as the ships begin to retreat. However, as he turns his head, he sees King Ghidorah, Monster X, Destoroyah, and SpaceGodzilla enter the battle. It was time to finish it all…
