With Shin-Gojira's design somewhat revealed (we've only seen the head) and a teaser now out there, what is the posibility that Tamashii Nations may bring the newest and largest incarnation to the Monsterarts line? For those who don't know what S.H. Monsterarts is, it is a line of highly possable and highly detailed figures that span into the Godzilla franchise (besides King Kong, Gamera, and Alien vs Predator). Those who collect these figures, like me, know very well that for the past year we have been getting re-issues, with the exception of Mecha-King Ghidorah. Our hope is for new figures to come out in the following year (though if they still do a few re-issues, I would love to see Burning Godzilla and Destoroyah again. I missed out on those 2). I think Shin-Gojira would make a perfect canidate. Besides, they did release a figure for Godzilla 2014 (besides the fact that it was his 60th anniversary), who's to say they won't consider making Shin-Gojira?

AdminGodzillaDec-10-2015 7:22 PMWasn't there some big announement about how S.H. Monsterarts was going to focus on less articulated figures for the future? I'd like a a ShinGoji figure as much as anyone and Monsterarts would do a great job with it, I'm just not sure how they would handle it with the supposed direction the company is going in now.

MemberTitanosaurusDec-11-2015 4:40 AMGman2887, I heard that too and I have a theory. Tamashii Nations has a line of human characters called S.H. Figuarts. They also have a separate line called FiguartsZero. The Zero line is just basically statues with no articulation. So what I think is that Tamashii Nations may make a separate Monsterarts line as well, that way they can have less articulated figures/statues without disappointing those who want articulated figures. That's what I think anyways.

Even so, if they at least keep up most of the superb detail I wouldn't really mind. While I'd love to collect the X-Plus figures, this was a medium alternative between that and the bandai and NECA figures.
