Godzilla Wars: Aftermath- Chapter 16

     Godzilla didn’t want to fight the new challenge. As the mecha’s eyes light up, Godzilla steps back. However, he hears a screech from above, and Fire Rodan divebombs MechaGodzilla II right in front of him. Firing a blast of his Uranium Heat Beam, Fire Rodan mercilessly attacked his former ally.

     Soon, Rodan is joined by Anguirus, who charges the mech. However, MechaGodzilla II fires his Laser Cannons from its eyes, wounding Anguirus. Winching in pain, Anguirus bites MechaGodzilla II in the leg. As Rodan pecks the top of MechaGodzilla II’s head, Mothra flies in to help.  Faced with three monsters at once, MechaGodzilla II fires its Paralysis Missiles at Anguirus, and then fires its Laser Cannons at Mothra, who flies back a bit. As MechaGodzilla II begins to fight off Fire Rodan, the King of the Monsters steps in.

     Roaring at his former ally, Godzilla slashes MechaGodzilla II in the neck. However, before he can attack again, Godzilla is hit by the rockets on MechaGodzilla II’s Mega-Buster Ray. Roaring in pain, Godzilla stumbles back a bit, but turns around and hits his former ally with his tail. Almost falling over, MechaGodzilla II watches as a large, spiky ball comes flying at it.

     Anguirus’s spiky carapace slams into MechaGodzilla II as Mothra flies back in. As both monsters attack MechaGodzilla II, they constantly glance at Godzilla, who just watches them. However, as a squadron of Maser jets flies in, Godzilla continues to fight. Swatting away a Maser jet, he accidentally steps on MechaGodzilla II. Looking down, Godzilla stops his elephantine foot down on MechaGodzilla II a few more times. As Godzilla stomps on MechaGodzilla II one more time, a small explosion forms. Godzilla destroyed MechaGodzilla II’s Plasma Grenade.

     As the damaged MechaGodzilla II slowly gets up, Fire Rodan flies in and pecks out one of its eyes. As Fire Rodan fights MechaGodzilla II, Battra flies in. The two monsters both attack, with Battra eventually using his Electric Grab. However, this barely does anything to the robotic Godzilla. Eventually, Super MechaGodzilla II is hit with Godzilla’s Atomic Breath, which does some damage, but not a lot. As Godzilla, Battra, and Fire Rodan stare at their former ally, they know what to do.

     All three of them charge their attacks, and fire. As long, powerful blasts of Godzilla’s Atomic Breath, Battra’s Prism Beam, and Fire Rodan’s Uranium Heat Beam hit MechaGodzilla II, his special coating begins to melt, causing the three attacks to do significantly more damage. After about a minute, MechaGodzilla II’s shield is destroyed. Fire Rodan and Battra fly off, and Godzilla slowly approaches his robotic clone.

     The two look into each other’s eyes. Godzilla doesn’t want to do what’s about to happen, but knows it has to be done. He whips MechaGodzilla II with his long, powerful tail, which causes the mecha to fall to the ground. Godzilla grabs MechaGodzilla II by its tail and carries it to a cliff. Memories of fighting alongside MechaGodzilla II play through Godzilla’s mind, but he keeps going. Godzilla stomps on MechaGodzilla II again, and tosses it into the ocean. The destroyed mecha is quickly torn apart by Titanosaurus. Staring out into the waves at the few remaining scraps of metal, the King of the Monsters sadly waits for the next monster to come.
