Godzilla Wars: Aftermath- Chapter 14

     Only one of the strange, new beasts was familiar. Godzilla had faced it before, recognizing it by its quadrupedal gait and the grabber at the end of its tail. It hisses, and sprays a stream of acid at him. However, Anguirus rolls into a ball and hurtles himself at the monster, hitting its back. As he begins to stand up, a much larger monster looks down at him…

    The new creature, named Slattern, begins to stab Anguirus with its three triple-crowned tails. However, Battra lands on it from behind and uses his Electric Grab. This distracts Slattern for a bit, giving Anguirus time to escape. As Slattern tries to fight Battra off, the third kaiju, called Raiju, grabs Battra with its long crocodilian jaws. Tossing Battra to the side, Raiju charges him as Slattern makes its way towards Godzilla.

     The kind of the Monsters quickly whips Slattern’s legs with his long, powerful tail. Wincing in pain, Slattern falls to the ground. However, as Godzilla approaches it, the larger kaiju hits him with its triple-crowned tails. Wincing in pain, Godzilla stumbles back a bit. As Slattern begins to get up, Godzilla kicks it in the face. Falling back down, Slattern flails its tails in the air, trying to hit the King of the Monsters. However, just as it gets up, Godzilla fires a blast of his Atomic Breath at its tails, breaking the one to the right in half.

     As Godzilla fights Slattern on the ground, Fire Rodan and Mothra combat Otachi in the sky. As the beast approaches, Fire Rodan fires a blast of his Uranium Heat Beam. This lightly wounds Otachi, but gives Mothra a chance to attack. She flies behind Otachi and grabs on to her tail. As she waves her tail around in an attempt to free herself, Fire Rodan swoops in. Grabbing on to her mouth flaps, he forces them open with his powerful talons. Firing a powerful blast of his Uranium Heat Beam right into the open mouth, both monsters release Otachi. The winged kaiju falls a bit before landing.

     Hitting Raiju with his Prism Beam, Battra slowly forces the crocodilian kaiju back. Hissing, he charges again. Battra fires his Prism Beams again, but Raiju takes the blast head on. Finally, it reaches Battra and grabs him. However, Battra fires a blast of his Prism Beam right at Raiju’s long snout. As Raiju drops Battra, he notices something- the head seems to be composed of three flaps! He flies behind Raiju and grabs his tail. As his claws pierce into Raiju’s skin, Battra flies into the air, dragging Raiju along the ground. While he does this, Battra uses a few shocks of his Electric Grab. These stun Raiju long enough for Battra to lift him higher and toss it to the ground.

    Wincing in pain as Slattern’s two remaining tails pierce into his skin, Godzilla fires a short blast of his Atomic Breath. This forces Slattern back, and gives Godzilla enough time to fire another, more powerful blast. However, Slattern gets right back up and charges. Godzilla whips Slattern’s long, powerful arms with his tail, causing it to stumble to the side. Swinging his tail like a baseball bat, Godzilla shatters the bones inside Slattern’s right arm. It falls to the ground, heavily wounded. Godzilla fires a couple more blasts of his Atomic Breath, which take out the other tail tails. Godzilla then approaches the now-defenseless Slattern, ready to finish the battle.

     As Otachi charges Gorosaurus and Baragon, Gorosaurus kicks her face. Disorientated from the blow, Otachi winces as Baragon ferociously bites and slashes her tail. Eventually, her grabber locks around Baragon’s head, and she throws him to the side. However, Gorosaurus kicks her again, which disorientates her even more. Just as she lands a few slashes on Gorosaurus, Fore Rodan swoops down, divebombing her with a blast of his Uranium Heat Beam. Falling to the ground, Gorosaurus stomps on her a few times, finishing her off as Baragon slashes her back.

     Ferociously biting and scratching Raiju, Anguirus prepares to finish it off. However, Raiju grabs him and tosses him to the side. Turning around, he runs towards Godzilla as he finishes off Slattern with a final stomp to the neck. Reaching the visibly wounded King of the Monsters, it slashes him a few times. However, Godzilla notices the flaps that make up his head, and force them open, revealing a smaller head inside. Charging up his Atomic Breath, he fires a long, powerful blast into the open head. Raiju stops fighting back as its real head it obliterated.

     Roaring in victory over an alien kaiju trio once again, Godzilla notices the next monster slowly start to appear. This one is more familiar…
