Godzilla Wars: Aftermath- Chapter 13

     Roaring at the new threat, Godzilla immediately notices a large frill. The creature has a large frill, like a lizard’s, emerging from its neck. However, the creature roars back and fires its Electric Heat Ray at the King of the Monsters. Wincing in pain, Godzilla charges the monster.

     When the two reach each other, Godzilla gets the first hit. He slashes the new creature and kicks it back; however, the creature fires a smaller blast of its Electric Heat Ray before biting Godzilla’s arm. Grunting in pain, Godzilla attempts to shake the creature off. However, Fire Rodan eventually swoops down and fires his Uranium Heat Beam. Letting go of Godzilla, the creature looks around. Eventually, Anguirus sees it, and recognizes the creature to be Jirass.

     Roaring, Anguirus charges Jirass. As he quickly approaches Jirass, he leaps into the air and tackles him. He slashes the creature a few times before biting its neck. However, Jirass fires a powerful blast of his Electric Heat Ray right at Anguirus’s head. Bellowing in pain, Anguirus stumbles back and burrows into the ground. However, as Jirass attempts to recover, Godzilla kicks him to the ground.

     As Godzilla prepares to finish Jirass off, a bright light appears on the island, signaling the arrival of another monster. A creature a bit larger than Jirass steps out of the light, into the battlefield. Roaring, the creature immediately charges the King of the Monsters.

     The two meet and begin to slash and bite each other. However, after Godzilla lands a couple hits, the new creature gains the upper hand. It fires its Helix Beam at Godzilla, causing him to stumble back. As Godzilla prepares to attack again, the creature, known as Neosaurus, wraps its tail around Godzilla’s neck. As he attempts to free himself, Godzilla begins to charge up his Atomic Breath. However, as he prepares to fire, a large shape flies towards him.

     Mothra appears from the sky, grabbing Neosaurus’s tail. She grips onto it, her claws digging into its flesh. She bites it, and uses the combined force of her powerful wings, claws, and jaws to drag Neosaurus away from Godzilla. She begins to drag him around the island, but it eventually brought down by Jirass, who fires his Electric Heat Ray.

    Hiding in the ocean, Jirass swims towards the land to finish off Mothra. However, he’s stopped when he hits a larger monster. Looking up, he sees Titanosaurus staring down at him. Hissing, Titanosaurus uses his powerful tail fan to create waves, which knock Jirass into the sea. Then, Titanosaurus stomps on Jirass, forcing him under the surface. However, Jirass eventually frees himself and fires a powerful blast of his Electric Heat Ray.

     Stumbling back into the shallower water, Titanosaurus watches as Jirass approaches him. Roaring, he gets Fire Rodan’s attention. After finishing off a Meganula, Fire Rodan flies towards, Jirass, scaring him off with a few blasts of his Uranium Heat Beam. The creature heads inland, but away from Mothra.

     Getting up, Neosaurus notices Battra flying towards him. Preparing his Helix Beam, the creature fires them at Battra; however, the Divine Moth counters the attack with his Prism Beams. The two attacks create a small explosion. Flying in, Battra fires another blast of his Prism Beams, which hit Neosaurus. Looking for a place to use his Electric Grab, Battra notices the creature is covered in too much spikes to use his attack. However, he eventually sees the unprotected tail, and grabs on. He pulls it up, which trips Neosaurus. Using his Electric Grab, he heavily wounds Neosaurus.

     Eventually, Neosaurus frees himself and fires a few blasts of his Helix Beam. All except one hit Battra, who begins to fly towards Godzilla. Neosaurus follows him, but is immediately met by a powerful blast of Godzilla’s Atomic Breath. Being forced back, Neosaurus is eventually joined by Jirass.

    The two approach Godzilla, who roars at them. However, as the two prepare to attack, something attacks Jirass. A smaller, green creature appears on Jirass’s back, slashing and biting his back. Eventually, the creature is heavily wounded and his frill is torn up. With one final bite to the neck, Jirass falls to the ground. Godzilla notices Godzilla Junior standing triumphantly on the dead monster’s back, but is quickly swatted away by Neosaurus’s tail. Angered by this, Godzilla slashes Neosaurus’s head.

     Blinded by this, Neosaurus blindly swipes at Godzilla. Using his powerful tail, Godzilla whips Neosaurus, causing him to stumble back. Kicking him to the ground with his elephantine feet, Godzilla stomps down on the creature a few times. Eventually, he grabs Neosaurus by his long, powerful tail, and flips the monster over his shoulder.

     With one final blast of his Atomic Breath, Godzilla kills Neosaurus. Roaring in victory over the two strange kaiju, Godzilla walks over to Godzilla Junior. Seeing that he’s all right, he looks around, waiting for the next challenge.
