As it turned out, the hosting site in question, Fanon Wikia, actually held an award show for Best Fanons of 2015, holding nominations for various categories. Among those is Best Action Movie Article, where I'm proud to announce that my entry, Godzilla: Monster Island, my Godzilla 3 submission, was not only nominated, but won the 2015 Fanon Award for Best Action Movie Article on that site!
Here they are again, for those of you who missed them:
You can tell by reading that I really worked my ass off on both of them, especially G:MI which would probably be a 2 hr and 45. minute to 3 hour long film TBH (perfect way to round out the series). Being the purported final film (basically a big budget DAM remake), I made it as emotionally-investing and climatic as possible.
But yeah, good to know a fellow writer is getting recognition for his work, eh?
