MemberTitanosaurusAug-24-2015 12:14 PMHello everybody I'm back and I've found this very interesting video comparing the similarities and differences between Gojira (1954) and Godzilla (2014).
Here's a link to the video, injoy.

Godzilla... Truly a God incarnate.

AdminGodzillaAug-24-2015 6:37 PMFairly accurate, but saying it's the only movie since the 1954 film that promotes thought and a penchant for serious storytelling is really inaccurate. From a very general perspective the 2014 succeeded no more or less than some other films in the series did: Godzilla Raids Again, The Return of Godzilla and Godzilla, Mothra, King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All-Out Attack all had the precision and care for a specific cultural era being attacked by giant monsters that this guy speaks of in the 2014 flick.
Now, he's not saying the 2014 flick is a great movie and I'm not even saying that about the films I mentioned here. But to say that the 2014 movie is the only one since the original that has been a serious venture into thought is simply wrong.
