according to abc news Shinji Higuchi said that godzilla 2016 qouting the article Applying to Godzilla that kind of technology, which Higuchi calls "hybrid," has never been attempted in Japan. Higuchi is promising just that.

the tech their talking about is the effects of attack on titan which is a mix of suits and cgi and the say that so yes godzilla 2016 will have a mix of suits and cgi

We pretty much knew this when we heard that Shinji Higuchi was the special effects director. His Gamera work from the 90's and his latest attack on titan film were just the few that made us want him to do Godzilla.

@highflyerstagteam we now have 100% confirmation i had a feeling they would but we now know 100% thats what there doing it was just happy they said thats what is happening now to see if it gets a us relese ( bandai america said they may be making g 16 toys so maybe it will get a us release.)
