Godzilla: Dominion- Part 3

     Godzilla and his allies swim after this new creature. Rodan and Mothra pursue it from the air and attempt to attack. However, the monster swats its clubbed tail when the two get within fifty feet from it. Finally, the group walks into the city of Tokyo, Japan. The city is only in need of minor repairs after the Monster War destroyed it. Godzilla lets out a challenging roar to the creature. It responds with a familiar screech. It sounds like a combination of the MUTO and Anguirus.

     The creature turns around and lands in an open area. It rears to its full height, showing all of its intimidating features. It had the head of Godzilla, but it ends in the mouth of the MUTO, but with small teeth in the back. It had a glowing red stripe running down its head on both sides, with Godzilla’s eyes located in them. On the snout was a small horn like Anguirus’s. It has tusks near its mouth like Biollante, and King Ghidorah’s horns. It has his long neck, except a little shorter and thicker. Its body has a smaller version of Anguirus’s shell, with the male MUTO’s wings sticking out of the body a little behind the neck. The wings are folded on a diagonal angle over the creature’s back. It has long, lean arms, which have Anguirus’s armor in between the shoulder and elbow and the hand has three fingers and a thumb.

     Just behind the arms were another set of arms, but a bit smaller. The second pair was MUTO-like, with hooks instead of hands. The legs were long and muscular, with more of Anguirus’s amour covering the thigh. The creature’s feet were like those of Gorosaurus. The tail was long and muscular and ended in a spike club like Anguirus’s. Screeching, the monster steps forward. Godzilla does the same, and the two prepare for battle.

     The creature charges and stabs Godzilla with his horn. As the King of the Monsters attempts to step back, the creature bites onto his neck. Bellowing in pain, Godzilla sees a plan. He kicks the monster’s chest, forcing it back. As it lunges forward for another attack, Godzilla sidesteps. The creature lands on all fours and turns its head to face Godzilla. It takes a deep breath and fires a yellow blast out of its mouth. Sparks fly in every direction out of the creature’s mouth as it fires at Godzilla. Wincing in pain, Godzilla charges through the blast to face the creature. The creature stops firing, but Godzilla grabs the creature’s jaws pulls the head toward his. Charging up his Atomic Breath, Godzilla prepares to destroy the creature from the inside out. However, the creature fires again, causing Godzilla to stumble back onto a building, wincing in pain.

     The creature faces the other three, and Anguirus steps forward. He rears up onto his hind legs and stabs the creature’s chest. Next, he bites onto its neck as it tries to bite him. However, the creature spreads its wings and grabs onto Anguirus. With a lot of effort, it slowly lifts itself off of the ground. He flies higher, still holding Anguirus. Finally, he drops the spiky creature above Mothra and Rodan. Anguirus screeches a warning and the two move out of the way as Anguirus curls into a ball. Hissing, the creature darts at Mothra. He grabs onto her before she can fly away. Using in MUTO-like arms, the creature slashes her wings as he forces her onto the ground. The creature stomps on her before lifting off the ground again. Hovering over the wounded insect, the creature fires its blast, scorching Mothra.

     Godzilla watches as his allies attempt to fight this new beast. Then, he realizes- this creature shouldn’t exist. It’s not natural. It was genetically created, like Godzilla the Mech. It was a backup, in case Godzilla the Mech was destroyed. That’s what this creature is- the Backup.

     Roaring, Godzilla steps towards the monster. It faces him and flies and lands in front of Godzilla. The two circle each other, preparing their battle plans. Finally, the Backup charges, and Godzilla does the same. It’s time for the final battle.
