MemberMothra LarvaeMay-25-2015 11:38 PMDANG. That trailer blows any fan-project I've ever done out of the water alone.
Can't wait to see the final result. =)

MemberMothra LarvaeMay-26-2015 6:07 AMI hate being that guy, but...Dont you guys think TOHO might stop this? They are known to be incredibly protective about their properties, especially Godzilla.
Anyway, the trailer looks pretty good. Cool.

The King of the Monsters
MemberMothra LarvaeMay-26-2015 9:07 AMToho rarely stops fan-films and related projects. They're only really defensive when a major film company blatantly uses or copies Godzilla in their own films to make a profit. This movie should be safe.

MemberTitanosaurusMay-26-2015 9:25 AMI think THE KING OF THE MONSTERS is right. I've seen one or two other fan films and I don't rememeber Toho doing anything about it.

MemberBaragonMay-27-2015 7:46 AMWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW!
I've been folowing the production of this movie for quite a while now, and I'm kicking myself (pardon the pun) for missing the Kickstarter last year. No WAY I'm missing phase 2.
For those unaware, this film takes place in modern times, and is a sequel to Godzilla, King of the Monsters (1956). It focuses on the grandson of Steve Martin as he works to make a name for himself and escape his grandfather's legacy. But, of course, he cannot escape his heritage...
Godzilla is not alone, either. Concept art exists for Anguirus (who has a suit in construction), Rodan, Mothra, Kumonga, Kamacuras, and Varan. I'm not sure if all of these monsters will be in the film, but a few will, as the story refers to a world populated by "Superfauna".
I am so excited for this film, and I cannot wait to see it completed! It'll be awesome to get three Godzilla films in as many years... ;)
