G-FEST will once again host a spectacular concert of kaiju film music this year... Symphonic Fury: The Music of Japanese Monsters! The concert will showcase Akira Ifukube's Sympnonic Fantasia (four movements of monster tunes written by the master), and, even more incredibly, the world debut of the kaiju music of Ko Otani, composer of the Heisei Gamera Trilogy and GMK.
Having met their stretch goals with their Kickstarter campain, the organizers of the concert intend to bring the composer himself to the concert as the Guest of Honor! Fans will have the opportunity to meet Ko Otani, and the man of the hour will be there to witness the first performance of his music in a concert setting EVER!
Definitely an event not to be missed!
