World War G: Chapter 11

     Godzilla is sleeping on the bottom of the ocean. Two tiny, inferior humans awake him. Staring at them curiously, Godzilla waits to see their action. Finally, one opens a device which sprays bubbles everywhere. One human goes to the surface, and Godzilla watches him through foggy vision. As he feels a hot sensation all over his skin, he sees the remaining human cut a clear tube. Godzilla feels a stabbing pain and begins to get light-headed as his skin feels like it’s being eaten away…

     Kiryu shakes his head, returning to reality. He sees a larger Godzilla staring at him, waiting for him to move. Finally, Kiryu’s eyes turn red. He screeches, and Godzilla begins to slowly step forward. The mechanical monster rocket dashes over to Godzilla and slashes his face. Wincing in pain, Godzilla whips his tail at Kiryu’s legs, tripping him. The King of the Monsters gives an ear-splitting roar, and stomps on Kiryu’s head. As Anguirus approaches it, he begins to bite the mech’s head. Finally, the machine gets up and fires its Oral Maser cannon at the spiked creature’s head. Anguirus retreats underground to prevent further injuries. As Mothra attacks from behind, Kiryu turns around. Rodan swoops in and slashes the back of Kiryu’s head.

     The mech turns around again and faces Rodan. The pterosaur flies off before flying at Kiryu. He jams his beak into the monster’s right eye, shattering the glass and tearing off the surrounding metal plates. With some wires exposed, Kiryu is on some danger. Rodan pulls out some with his beak before Kiryu grabs him with his jaws and spins him around. Throwing him to the side, Kiryu fires his Oral Maser cannon at him, forcing the pterosaur through couple buildings. However, the monster feels something wrap around him and is soon turned around. He sees Godzilla’s angry face, and then his fist multiple times. After three direct punches to the face, Kiryu unsheathes a short blade from his right hand and thrusts it into Godzilla’s side. Grunting in pain, Godzilla attempts to free himself. However, Kiryu then sends an electric charge into the King of the Monsters.

     Godzilla roars in excruciating pain as he charges up his Atomic Breath. As Kiryu begins to remove the blade, he notices Godzilla’s dorsal spines lighting up. Firing its Dual Laser cannons, Kiryu forces Godzilla back a bit. After that, Kiryu fires the rockets from his battery pack at the monsters and launches itself backwards.

      After seeing the large explosion, Kiryu approaches the area, expecting to find nothing remaining. However, Anguirus leaps out of the ground and slashes Kiryu’s chest. Rearing onto his hind legs, Anguirus attacks his new adversary. However, Kiryu combines his Oral Maser cannon and Triple Hyper Maser cannon, crippling Anguirus and forcing him to the ground. As Mothra darts off to distract Kiryu, the machine turns its head. However, Godzilla kicks Kiryu to the ground. Surprised, the mech turn its right hand into a drill for combat.

     Driving it into the King of the Monsters’ right shin, Kiryu slowly gets up. However, Godzilla fires a powerful blast of his Atomic Breath, taking out most of Kiryu’s right arm. All that remains is the shoulder and a little down. Both of them stare at each other, ready for the final battle.
