MemberMothra LarvaeFeb-06-2015 10:40 PMI know that I have been inactive for quite some time, but I will occasionally return to this forum to post pictures, and maybe even continue my experimental Godzilla novel that nobody remembers! Yay!!!
For now, this is a drawing I made that is dedicated to the talented Matt Frank, and those involved with IDW's Godzilla: Rulers of Earth, the first comic I've ever ACTUALLY enjoyed. This is their original creation, the Trilopod, and this is how the beast would be depicted in the Legendary series, with a rough estimate of other kaiju for size comparison. Give your honest feedback. That means both positive and negative. I'm all for constructive criticism, because it can help with later drawings and sketches! See ya guys latah!!!

MemberTitanosaurusFeb-07-2015 4:21 AMPretty good. The design of the Trilopods themselves don't need too much tweaking due to their resemblance to many past Earth lifeforms.
However, I'd say tweak the size just a little bit to be about slightly taller than the female M.U.T.O. In keeping with their original status, the Trilopods are large, imposing, but also attack in large numbers. Physically, they'd be as strong as the female, be nearly as large as Godzilla himself, but have numbers to back themselves up.

MemberTitanosaurusFeb-07-2015 7:20 AMI've seen what they can do in the comics. They are awesome. The small ones bite a monster and absorb some power. Then a small one bites a big one and they fuse. They take the appearance of the monster the small one bit and their abilities. They are just awesome. I can't wait to see what else they can do in the next Godzilla: Rulers of Earth.
