The Power of Godzilla's (2014) Tail and Bite Force!

So I was watching Godzilla (2014) on my iPad and I rewatched the male MUTO kill scene. I watched how Godzilla swung his tail to slam the MUTO in the building. As I rewatched it over and over, I analyzed how Godzilla moves his body to make the attack. What interested me is that Godzilla needed to twist his body in order to swing his tail! Meaning that his tail is too heavy to for him to swing by itself! The same concept happened in Final Wars when Godzilla fully moved his body in a 360 twist and smacked Zilla in the building. The other thing that sparked my interest in the kill scne is how Godzilla bit down on MUTo's left wing. What interested me is a wide he opened his mouth and chomped on the wing. If you watch carefully, after he swung the MUTO out of his mouth, you can see how MUTo is uncoordinated when released. Meaning, that chomp really crippled the MUTOs flight coordination. This kind of helps us anticipate how powerful Godzilla uses his basic abilities! Thats all for today. I just wanted to share. Thanks for reading.

Godzilla was clearly seen holding his tail of the ground before. And I believe that having to do the turn was mearly so he could get the full force in.

I? I am a monument to all of your sins.

Don't forget that he threw that sucker with his mouth! Also, the force of his tail slam was so great that he managed to completely sever on of the male's arms. Also, ALSO, his bite managed to completely immobilize the female when utilized on her shoulder.

I could imagine the Male Muto's almost every single bone being crushed by the impact of Godzilla's tail slamming into him.

Also if the T Rex had a bite force of 12 800 pounds, I would imagine Godzilla's being 20.5 times longer and 11 250 times heavier, his bite force should be around 4 000 000 - 12 000 000 pounds.

Remember that chap, I forget his name, he climbed Everest without any oxygen, came down nearly dead. They asked him, they said, "Why did you go up there to die?" He said, "I didn't, I went up there to live."

You know, Godzilla316, I think there's more to that!

Most have refuted me on this, but I think that the male M.U.T.O.'s impalement by the concrete was because of the sheer force of the tail slam. Normal weaponry is ineffective against both of the M.U.T.O.s, and, logically speaking, even a building of that size would be penetrated quite efficiently by modern weaponry, which, as stated before, is ineffective against both M.U.T.O.s.

Now, taking that into account, plus your proposition of the force of the slam being able to shatter nearly every bone in his body, we're looking at a tail slam so powerful that it shatters the internals of the male whilst simultaneously severing his arm whilst simutaneously forcing concrete spikes to imbed themselves in his back.

Very true. Unlike the majority of Godzilla's, 2014's pure combat melee abillities exceeded his opponent's.

Good grief.

SHAZOTHEHEDGEHOG - How very neat! I would certainly agree that the Legendary Godzilla is extremely powerful and capable of crushing through foes with ease! Thank you for presenting these interesting observations! :)

It was stated in some bonus feature I saw that Godzilla 2014 was large enough for his tail to reach near-supersonic speeds, which is probably how he killed the male MUTO. The blast heavily injured him, while the sheer force of the impact destroyed the building, causing rubble to rain down on the MUTO, impaling it. Godzilla still would've killed the MUTO without the building.

Hello, I just signed up and I have to agree with ^sci-fi king25 even without the building the muto would be killed by the sheer force.
