MemberMothra LarvaeDec-26-2014 3:13 PMBringing new monsters into a movie is a big deal. how will gareth be able to bring back these classic monsters into this film with no holes or questions asking where they came from. How will he fit these monsters into the movie in a beleiveable way?

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-26-2014 3:35 PMThe same way he brought in Godzilla. He understood where too set the boundaries of realism and the original character. He will do the same here. WHERE exactly these boundaries will lie is anyones guess, as the monsers we know will be in the sequel all are very distinct beings, so their boundaries could slide differently.
Basically im saying there is no way of knowing. We can only wait and see.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-26-2014 4:50 PMWell here's the way I see it
Rodan is easy just another creature from the same time as godzilla, plan and simple
Mortha is a bit harder but I would say she also from the same time as godzilla and rodan but unlike them she was able to found some way to survive on island somewhere and the people who lived there started some cult around her. The twin fairs could proabably just be like the head preistess or something
King Ghidorah is tricky, I would put him being responsible for ether killing the dinosaurs or some big catastrophe that happend over the last few million years

MemberBaragonDec-26-2014 8:16 PMI mean based on the origins of the kaiju from the first movie I don't think he's taking super believability into account. If people will believe there are 3 giant monsters that have been asleep for millions of years that are pretty much indestructible then Gareth has some leeway with how far he can push it and stay in the realm the first movie used.

MemberMothra LarvaeDec-27-2014 12:58 AMI totally agree with Rodan and Mothra. Mothra's classic song could even be intigrated into a tribal dance of worship or something.
However, having a kaiju-influence on the death of the Dinosaurs is REALLY iffy. We already basically know that an enormous meteor that struck the.....Gulf of.....Mexico......
WAIT A DARN-TOOTING MINUTE. METEOR. GHIDORAH. HOLY CRAP!! IT MAKES PERFECT SENSE!!!!
