We have been waiting for this day for a long time. Godzilla (PS3) has been released in Japan. People shall need Walkthrough's, and I will provide them to you. That is what this topic is for. Walkthroughs, other videos, info and Easter Eggs, will be posted here as soon as they are found. Fans can also post their own videos here, as well as Easter Eggs and other information. Apparantly GODZILLA(Game) has a HUGE library of iconic OST Godzilla music from the works of Akira Ifukube and other talents! From Jet Jaguar's "Punch, Punch, Punch" theme, to themes like Gigan's Rise from Final Wars or the main title theme of King Kong vs. Godzilla!

You can assign these themes to the monsters within the game, so whenever they appear for a boss battle, the music you tied to them will play thunderously!

And yes folks, they have GODZILLA 2014's theme as well! And yes, you can assign themes to yourself and the game's playable monsters. However, if you want to dive into more iconic tracks, you'll need to unlock the rest of them throughout the game. Check out the video below, all music tracks are in English

 

GODZILLA(Game) Update Listings and Corrections!

Alright, the game has been out for a very short while now, of course throughout such a short period, we have learned new things! Thanks to fellow islanders here with their postings and feedback, we're making an article that better informs and corrects details regarding the game itself!

Correction:

1. Custom Background Sountracks are implemented from your PS3 Console's music library.

You've read correctly, the music tracks from the video we showed here were in fact, all music titles upload onto the player's PS3 console! Meaning that the game does not withhold all of the franchise's OST themes, aside from a few that are literally within the game. None the less, everything covered about the function remains the same. You can assign music themes to the kaiju within the game. You can also do the same with G-force and the playable monsters from the game as well.

Update:

2. There are plenty of abilities and attacks for Godzilla to use!!

Many have stated and shown that you can equip abilities to Gojira, from Showa-style breath, to the famous Victory Dance(Yes, it can be used for attacks). So do not think there are only Heisei-Era abilities. This really gives the game a wonderful sense of gameplay depth!

3. There are different Story Endings:

Players have managed to achieve this throughout their walkthroughs, we won't post any firm details about it in order to avoid spoilers for the lot of gamers who have yet to play the game. But there are noticeable differences to the whole thing. (We don't have our copies of the game, we won't until Christmas Eve, so we can't help to better understand how these endings are triggered or earned. Though we're still researching!)

Correction:

GODZILLA(2014) Appears to be KOTM Only

Unfortunately, GODZILLA seems to not be playable in Story Mode/Destruction Mode. The story is generally from the perspective of Gojira(Heisei) and our journey in living as the newly awakened monster. The very least, we understand GODZILLA's motive throughout the story(and scan to some degree) and why he's around. Of course, with his announcement scan, and with this being a story-only kind of game throughout its beginning, we assumed he'd be playable in Story since he was said to be a playable character.(This is before the announcement of KOTM mode)

But yes, it is to be corrected that only GODZILLA and Burning Gojira are playable within KOTM.

Correction:(Big Thanks to Parusoku.com !!) Godzilla Incarnations are the only monsters playable

Like us, many fans have read and translated that a few monsters could be potentially playable aside from Gojira and GODZILLA. Jet Jaguar and Kiryu were noticeably those certain monsters. (Biollante, King Ghidorah, and Mothra were supposedly confirmed as well from Famitsu's web article, but it was proven wrong upon the article's writer behalf in the same sense of IGN believing Rodan to be within the game)

None the less, JJ and Kiryu, their scans stated that their characters can be engaged and played. From our translators, from their generous efforts, their works made it out as "playable" from the sound of their scan's context. Unfortunately we were wrong in this case like many others, as it looks to be proven correctly that only Godzilla incarnations can be played, for this is (understandably) a Godzilla focused game.

We acknowledge that certain things were changed and removed from the game before the shipping of its finalized product. So it's to be expected of some ideas not making the cut.

But in the fault of providing improper informational translations like many others around the net regarding a few of the game's scans, we, Gormaru Island, admit to our mistakes. And openly, we would like to sincerely apologize to you all for our incompetence. We hope to do a much more respectable job in investing our talents to produce better quality works for you all. Because of this, we'll be bringing on a new Japanese translator to the island!

Their translated works can be viewed from the recently finished manga series "NARUTO" upon Mangastream. We'll be introducing our latest member soon enough next week! It may not seem like a big deal to blow-up over misinformed translations, but you all trusted us, and while we did our best, our best was not entirely good enough. So to us, we hope to redeem ourselves to you and do an even better job!

Easter Eggs:

One of the PS3 trophies that are in the game is "Our Jet Jaguar," which can only be obtain by encountering Jet Jaguar 3 times in a single play through. Once you defeated him the third time, you trigger a special cut screen that show case this:
