I sincerely hope he is a man in a suit using a design reminiscent of the classic Japanese Godzilla, with charcoal gray skin and three rows of white dorsal plates.

I have a feeling that Toho COULD be considering making this the dark film that we thought Legendary might be making. Could we see the return of a dark, villainous Godzilla in 2016? Would it conflict too much with Legendary's series, or provide a nice contrast between two different kinds of kaiju storytelling? We will have to wait and see...
Oh, and... BRING ON THE SUITS!!!!!!!!
