The metal knight looked onward at the dazed beast, analyzing it, reading it. The creature stood up, groggily shaking its head, still wincing from the colossal blow it suffered at the hands of this new challenger. As it came to, the beast roared at the knight, announcing its refusal to accept defeat. It huffed, and it puffed, and began scraping the ground and rubble angrily, clearly not amused at the damage this metal giant had caused it.
The metal titan stood, indifferent to the taunts by the colossal creature. The beast charged forward full-force, intent on tearing apart its adversary limb from limb. As it charged, the knight crouched into position, almost like a runner in a race, its gaze fixated on the charging beast, one hand forward, and one held back in a fist.
The creature raced forward at its quarry, ever intent on utterly ripping it apart. Just as its fearsome maw opened up near the face of the metallic paladin, the guardian suddenly lunged forward, fist flying straight underneath the creature's jaw, into the air, rising higher and higher until the beast was lifted above the ground, and the fist disconnected ever so slightly. In that brief disconnect, the metal colossus spun around, as if anticipating this slight disconnect from its attack, and gave the beast a rising kick that, after connecting, sent the beast flying across the city, landing with extreme force several hundred meters away from the knight's position.
The metal paladin slowly walked toward the beast, coming up next to it, and kneeling down next to it. The creature, though heavily injured, twitched slightly, signifying its life slowly draining away, but not quite to the point of death yet. The knight, upon seeing the creature's limited twitches upon the brink of death, stood up, raised its mighty foot, and stomped down on the creature's spin, with an enormous crack heard from impact.
The monstrosity twitched one last time, and finally fell still, its skin losing colour and turning grey and hardening up, its eyes losing their faint glow. The metal guardian kneeled down once more, closing the beast's eyes. It stood back up, put its hands together, and bowed to the slain behemoth.
