Godzilla: The Monster War- Chapter 12

     Godzilla and his allies are caught off-guard as Jirass attacks Angirius from underneath. Angirius bellows in pain and surprise and Godzilla turns around. He sees Jirass attacking his ally and swims up to him. The King of the Monsters rams Jirass off of Angirius and starts his attack.

     Jirass roars in pain as Godzilla’s teeth and claws penetrate his skin. Eventually, Jirass breaks free and swims off. Godzilla notices the direction Jirass is heading, and ignores the creature. The group continues to swim towards their destination- Baja California. However, after swimming about twenty miles, Godzilla feels that something is wrong…

     The King of the Monsters turns around just as Jirass bites down on his tail. Godzilla grunts in surprise and begins shaking his tail out of Jirass’s mouth. In about half a minute his tail is free and he slaps Jirass with it. Angirius swims at full speed at the creature and begins attacking him. Jirass bravely fights back and eventually uses his Electric Heat Ray on the spiked creature. Angirius roars in pain and Godzilla moves in to attack. He swims under the creature and pushes it above the surface. The other monsters shoot at it for a few seconds before it falls back underwater, critically wounded.

     Godzilla swims at Jirass at full speed and begins mercilessly biting and scratching him. Eventually, the creature succumbs to his wounds. Godzilla and his allies continue their journey, and soon reach the shore. All of the monsters are surprised to see such otherworldly beasts…
