Godzilla: The Monster War- Chapter 9

     Rodan has completely transformed. He’s now Blue Fire Rodan, mutated by the upgraded Varan’s venomous bite. The transformation has made him faster and stronger, yet he’s still learning how to control his Plasma Beam. As the group swims to Honolulu, Oahu, Godzilla begins to recognize the new threat…

     As the group walks further inland, they see the MUTOs savagely destroying Honolulu. Godzilla gives an ear-splitting roar, and the ancient parasites stare at him. The female growls and charges as the male continues attacking the city. As the female runs at her adversaries, Godzilla turns and moves his tail in front of him. The MUTO trips and Angirius pounces on her. She screeches in pain as Angirius’s claws and teeth penetrate her skin. The male hears her and flies at full speed towards the battle. Battra dives in and grabs the creature. He shocks it, and the creature roars in pain. Blue Fire Rodan fires his Plasma Beam at the MUTO, and it hits him. The creature roars in pain, and slashes Battra’s neck.

     The MUTO flies off and attacks Angirius. The creature roars in pain, and runs off a bit. The female MUTO gets up, but MechaGodzilla II shoots her. She charges at the mech, and it shoots her again. The MUTO continues and leaps onto MechaGodzilla II. She ferociously mauls the mech, but it fires its Plasma Grenade at her. The MUTO flies into some buildings, dead. Godzilla sees this, and continues his battle with the male MUTO. As the creature flies at him, Godzilla grabs him with his jaws and starts swinging him around. The MUTO hits a few buildings, and he roars in pain. Finally, Godzilla lets go, and the MUTO crashes into more buildings. Godzilla pushes him to the ground and then stomps on him a few times, killing it.

     Godzilla roars in victory, and his group heads back to the ocean, and they begin their swim to the island of Maui to face a new enemy. As they reach the shore, they see a giant, powerful beast of both plant and animal.
