Godzilla: The Monster War- Chapter 8

     The creatures, a swarm of Meganula and Meganulon, along with Megaguirus, are devastating the city. However, another creature soon comes ashore. The creature is the Rhedosaurus. However, a few Meganula swarm over it, and soon a couple more join. The creatures attack the Rhedosaurus until it falls to the ground. As more move in to finish off the creature, Mothra and Battra fly in to combat the insects. As they slaughter a few of the Meganulon, Battra flies away to fight Megagurius. As the insects attack Godzilla and his allies, the King of the Monsters eliminates a large amount of the Meganulon.

     Soon, Godzilla, Rodan, and Angirius eliminate the rest of the Meganulon, leaving the Meganula and Megaguirus. As Battra fiercely battles Megaguirus and a few Meganula. As a swarm of Meganula fly at Godzilla, he charges up his Atomic Breath. Just as the swarm reaches him, Godzilla fires the ray, incinerating a large number of the insects. He fires another blast, killing the rest of the swarm.

     As the remaining Meganula fly off to fight Battra, Rodan and Mothra follow them. Godzilla looks, and sees both Battra and Megaguirus heavily injured. Battra fires his Prism beams at Megaguirus, and the Meganula attack him. As the severely injured insect flies towards Rodan, Godzilla notices that his ally has turned a pale blue color with a cream-colored underside, and he seems to be choking on something. As Megagurius prepares to attack, a bright blue beam bursts out of Rodan’s mouth. The beam hits Megaguirus in the head, killing her. All of Godzilla’s allies stare at Rodan. He has transformed into something different…
