Origin
As a direct response to public outcry and fear of growing residual monster threats following the MUTO invasion in San Fran, a trillionaire CEO of a bio-engineering and militant weapons manufacturer hires a group of researchers to dig up the fossilized remains of an ancient Godzilla species, named "Adam":
and, using cranes and other technology, his construction workers place special alloyic plates made from the combination of chrome and a metal produced from the Godzilla's own natural skin fibers (via DNA cloning technology and bio-engineering) on the skeleton. In doing so, they build a gigantic, mechanized clone of Godzilla, code-named MechaGodzilla, built from the bones and tissue fibers of the two Godzillas, past and present, with an exterior tougher than Godzilla's.
While building the machine, the construction workers tasked with constructing the giant Godzilla bot have spent years studying the biology of the monsters and prepared accordingly. With the ability to fire reactor-powered missiles via its nuclear fusion reactor, it can dispense-and even spam-intense amounts of gamma radiation into the ancient nuclear fission-eating monsters such as Godzilla, Rodan, MUTO, King Ghidorah, etc, causing disruption of the molecules that would allow them to absorb the nuclear energy ignited from their explosions, thus proving lethal to them. Topped with a special weapon hidden in its chest compartment-a Penta Maser Canon-rigged with five 20,000 volt Tesla Guns, a variety of tactical weapons, including smoke and concussion grenades, and a pair of shoulder-mounted, reactor-charged Rail Guns, MechaGodzilla is the ultimate anti-kaiju weapon. Armed with a built-in VSAT and radar system and the ability to be remote-controlled wirelessly via an outside control deck, this new mech can find giant monsters all around the world wherever they hide!
There's my take on a Legendary MechaGodzilla, made as realistic as possible while still giving a fresh new and compelling take on it.
