MemberGiganNov-07-2014 6:29 AMIm sure most of you have read Godzilla awakening. Well did you ever notice that Godzilla had a different hide in that novel? Look at this
Doesnt he look quite odd and different from his body in G 14? Well this is not just a design change, here is my theory.
Well Awakening takes place before the King was hit with the Nuclear bomb, think about that for a minute. Do you remember my thread Godzilla 2014's substitute for G-cells! Well, in that thread i explained that whenever the King is injured his body creates a rock like hide shield to reinforce his hide.
This Godzilla has no where near as many rock like bumps and shell differences that this one has
So you take it from here, what i propose is the Awakening Godzilla is what the King actually looks like before he was hit with the Nuclear bomb.
Good grief.

MemberMothra LarvaeNov-07-2014 9:31 AMDon't take it literally; the art just wasn't very good. It lacked consistency with all of his characters, their features would morph from page to page.
Not to mention that drawing all of that extra detail is very time consuming, and I'm guessing this was a rushed job.

MemberGiganNov-07-2014 12:36 PMIt's a good theory, but I'll have to go with Duartok on this one.
