MemberMothra LarvaeNov-04-2014 2:16 PMWell my G14 from SHMA has just arrived in the mail and I have to say, it is not as bad as people think.
All those big reviewers on YouTube get so angry over a messup that is literally a 1/2" or smaller. This figure is actually really nice if you don't focus his bottom jaw. The articulation is nice but the tail is a bit loose. The paint is an awesome matte finish with good use of greens and greys. And Mr. Sakai's sculpting is (as usual) awesome. So really if you want a g14 that isn't unnaturally glossy then you really should pick this one up.
I will have a video review sometime this week.

MemberBaragonNov-04-2014 7:42 PMI actually REALLY like mine! I spent 20 minutes in my local comic book store staring at the two figures they had on the shelves, trying to see if either had the dreaded derp eyes. one had great paint apps on the face and teeth, but I couldn't see the eyes, and the other had the gum disease teeth and a Rudolph nose. I ultimately chose the one with the better face paint apps, and hoped like heck he wouldn't look like a cartoon character who just got an anvil dropped on his head.
But no such luck... -_-
But it really doesn't boter me at all! You have to look REALLY close to see the issue, and its only one issue on a figure with pretty good paint apps across the board and a STELLER (if not completely film accurate) sculpt. I reccomend it!
