Legendary Origins Varan

Varan Appearances: Varan the Unbelievable, Destroy All Monsters, GMK (cut out, dangit!)

Varan is a, unique monster in this world. Varan is a small monster, about the size of the male MUTO, and has a light armor coating. Varan isn't skilled in fighting but mostly running away. In the prehistoric world, Varan acted as a warning for othr monsters that a kaiju is near. Usually Varan will stay on land but when he is being chased, he has ways of escaping. He has special foldes of skin inbetween his legs that he uses to glide over water using the ground effect to glide over the water like some birds glide today. Using this adavtage over other animals, Varan escapes harm from other monsters by gliding over the water. Escaping from many monsters, Varan was a thriving species until the radiation levels started to decrease. Many of these Varans died from lack of energy, drowning in the seas that they glided over.(probably eaten by Titanosaurus, ;) Fortunately for one Varan, he found a cave that led to a pocket of radiation that then collapsed after he entered, sealing him inside. This cave was then slowly dragged out of the continent it was a part of, which was India, and then became an island.
