MemberGiganOct-23-2014 8:25 AMYes everybody its Debate week season 4! It has indeed returned! And our first battle of the new season is Baragon vs Megalon!
The Burrowing Bandit vs the Cockroach from beneath.
Lets start with the Burrowing Bandit.
Baragon is a very strange opponent, his origins are not known and same for most of his powers. But he is probably the closest to an actual earth animal the Godzilla series has gotten.
Baragon as mentioned before has amazing burrowing abillity, as seen in GMK he was able to burrow beneath the earth and then reappear wthin a short amount of time.
Baragon also has great jumping skills, as seen when he tried to pounce Godzilla in GMK, although he failed in most of his attempts.
Baragons Durabillity is ok, he was able to withstand a great deal of Godzilla's attacks in GMK before he was incinerated by an Atomic breath.
Baragon is 25 metres, thats 82 feet. Wow i dont really see how he can even be acounted as an opponent.
Now onto the rapid Cockroach from beneath!
Megalon is extremely powerful opponent.
He can shoot lighting bolts from his horn that were able to do some deal of damage to the King.
He can spit Bombs from his mouth that sprayed into Napalm gas, it was able to confuse the king but not do any serious damage.
Megalon has drill hands that allow him to burrow beneath the earth at fast speeds.
Megalon also can jump in hops at 10 KM
On top of all this, the dang bug can also swim at very fast speeds.
Megalon's durabillity is reletively survivable, he was able to withstand a drop kick from Godzilla, and multiple punches and throws from Jet jaguar.
So this is it for Debate week season 4 day 1! Yes Debate week is back everyone!

MemberTitanosaurusOct-23-2014 8:42 AMHmmm............ Megalon is stronger, Baragon is quicker. Both can sometimes be smart, though not at particularly high levels. I'd say Megalon because his power seems a bit more on par with a powerful Kaiju like Godzilla than Baragon.

Sure baragon is 30 meters when on all 4s but He can also stand up on two feet. Plus Baragons heat beam would burn megalon alive. Sure megalon has his own beam but bargons seems to be alittle stronger and his bomb attack well we all know how that went(#went back down his throat.)

MemberBaragonOct-23-2014 12:47 PMMegalon wins. He outclasses Baragon in every category besides speed and he's not that far behind in that. Baragon's main advantage in his burrowing ability. He's up against someone that can do the same the possibly better and also has the ability to glide with larger arsenal of firepower. Megalon singlehandedly surrounded godzilla is a circle of flame, he and Gigan played catch with Jet jaguar and is much larger. Baragon easily loses this.
