GODZILLA:THE DESTROYER OF WORLDS
MemberMothra LarvaeOct-15-2014 1:27 PMWhile I am not a big fan of Godzilla:Awakening it did reveal Godzilla's origins as a prehistoric creature from the Permian age. I am just brainstorming ideas about how the Godzilla species would interact with each other and the creatues they share the ecosystem with. Such as being pack hunters or solitary predators? How they compete for mates? Live on land or in sea? How they raise the young? Carnivors or ominvores? What roles classic kaiju like rodan, mothra, ghidorah and others fit in this time when the earth was 10 times more radioactive than it is today? If you guys are wondering "whats the ponit of this discussion" the ponit is that I am developing a prequel story to the movie where the setting is in Godzilla's time. So what do you guys think and please, pretty please post your opinions and theories on the Legendary Godzilla's origins.

MemberMothra LarvaeOct-15-2014 1:57 PMAs for the social structure for Godzilla's species I think it would be extremely similar to bears, solitary hunters until mating season and when mating season is done then the male leaves and leaves the females to raise the kids on her own. However it would also be neat to see a family group of Godzilla where the male and female stay together until the young ones are full grown. As for interactions with others monsters I will leave that to others but I doubt there would be any peace between the Alpha Predators and the rest of the bunch.

(I can see Rodans being nest raiders. :P)
