2024: News: Did something happen in the theaters this week to a popular 70 year old monster Betty? Betty:Nope why?
There are strong men and weak men. The strong ones are here to keep the weak ones up when ever they fail.

MemberMothra LarvaeSep-23-2014 6:46 PMAre you asking Godzilla's death will be as much of a shock as it was in 1995?
Probably not, unfortunately. People these days don't really care about monster deaths, even if it is Godzilla. :(

MemberBaragonSep-23-2014 6:50 PMGodzilla's death was the end of a series in 96 and was announced before the movie even came out. That's why people made a big deal about it.
In the new movie they wouldn't say as a headline as it would be a huge spoiler and people would get mad.

MemberMothra LarvaeSep-23-2014 9:29 PMYeah, this topic is a depressing one. :/
I'm sure that if the trilogy is the last series of Godzilla films and Toho isn't going to make any more, then it would show up on the news. And it would probably only show up if it is a tragic and mournful scene (I'm looking at you 1995). Seriously though, if they're going to pull the plug on the most famous kaiju in cinema history, they'd better have a darn good reason why.

MemberMothra LarvaeSep-23-2014 9:48 PMWell they said in 2004 that there wouldn't be anymore Godzilla films for at least 10 years..... And we got another one 10 years later. I feel like if Legendary stops their run of Godzilla, it'll just be more of a haitus than a permanent ending.
Of course, there's only so many concepts for a Godzilla movie, and it gradually gets harder until you can't make any more.

MemberGiganSep-24-2014 6:49 AMGodzilla wont die at the end of the film series. The millenium ended with him still alive, an same for the Showa!
Why would they follow the Heisei route when they are clearly working with the Showa.
If anything the series will end with Godzilla eating Cake with Minilla before they have him die.
Good grief.

MemberGiganSep-24-2014 3:46 PMOn the tragic day when they pull the plug on Godzilla, I hope they'll use the scrapped Godzilla vs. Godzilla concept.
