MemberGodzillaSep-18-2014 6:56 PMGODZILLA:THEDESTROYEROFWORLDS - Hello there. I'm uncertain of what you're asking. If you're asking me what I think about the Bridge Scene in Godzilla (2014), I believe it was an interesting and sometimes suspenseful segment. I greatly enjoyed the way it slowly played out - building to the moment in which the train comes thundering down the tracks ablaze!
As for your statements about being new to the website: what on Earth does it matter? Simply enjoy the site and have fun with the rest of us! You've no reason to justify your presence here; we greatly enjoy the opinions of others! Never doubt yourself - especially on the grounds of your being new to the site. Chin up! :)

GODZILLA:THE DESTROYER OF WORLDS
MemberMothra LarvaeSep-18-2014 7:24 PMSorry subject of the post did not show like i thought it would. What do you guys think of the scene where godzilla destroys the san francisco to avoid the military? Was he hurt or feeling annoyed by there efforts to kill him?

Something Real
MemberGodzillaSep-18-2014 7:32 PMGODZILLA:THEDESTROYEROFWORLDS - In all honesty, I feel that Godzilla was likely indiferrent to the military's efforts to stop him. He simply waded through their flotilla and defensive lines with little more than a grunt or two! In the end, I'd say he was likely confused by the strange "little things" attempting to get his nottice with flashes of light and the odd rocks they threw at him! ;)

MemberMothra LarvaeSep-18-2014 9:06 PMI agree with NPINKHAM19, It was really good, but, like every scene with Godzilla, cut too short (I didn't mind the low screen time, just stahp with the jump cuts)
Like Something Real said, he was indifferent to the military. Gareth said in an interview that Godzilla wouldn't pay attention to the humans, and in another interview Edwards mentioned Godzilla was focusing on getting something (we later learn that it is the MUTOs).
Doing a size-comparison, humans to Godzilla are ants (with tanks) to us. They annoy the heck out of us when they crawl on us, but ultimately not worth our time. Especially when we are chasing that football.

Super Godzilla
MemberMothra LarvaeSep-19-2014 12:40 AMThe bridge scene was epic but, why did he stop, instead of swimming under the bridge? The few boats he hit would have just been small bumps in the road, so to speak. On that note I still loved the pause and suspense from it, not knowing what he was gonna do.
