The Awakening of Kijura: Chapter 17: Learning to breath
They had arrived back to their Reactor. Kijura came out the forest, with Little Luna following her. Gojora walked out when Firrarus pounced him. He growled in his faceand Kijura roared at him. Firrarus slowly got off of him and continued to growl at him.
Firrarus, this is Gojora. He help me save Little Luna’s life. He will also help me to learn how to use my Breath when White Rage does his attack, Kijura said.
Speaking of that, we should probably get started, Gojora said.
Alright. Little Luna, Firrarus, keep watch. We don’t want White Rage getting the jump on us, Kijura said.
With that Kijura and Gojora left, so they could practice. Firraus still did not trust this “Gojora”.
They went to the same clearing Kijura tried to fire her breath before. Gojora looked around and picked out a medium sized rock.
Watch how it is done.
His tail started to glow. A pulsing sound was heard as the glow started to move up his tail. It reached his head and he took a deep breath. Out of his mouth came radioactive blue fire. It hit the rock and exploded with a fiery blast. He then looked at Kijura and motioned for her to try.
She turned a rock next to the one that Gojora had destroyed. She took a deep breath and tried to let loose the her fire, but nothing came out. She turned around and saw that her tail was glowing, but it wasn’t moving up her back, or even making the pulsing noise. She took a deep breath and tried again. Still nothing. The glow then disappaered.
Concentrate. Think about the energy pulsing inside of you. Think about converging it from your tail to your back, and then out of your mouth. Think about using it on your enemies.
She thought about using it to kill White Rage. The glow started to travel up her back. She took a deep breath. Out of her mouth came a small spew of fire. Kijura nodded her head in frustration.
You were close. Much better than before. That is enough for today. Tomorrow we will continue.
I will post another chapter tomorrow to make up for not posting this one on time.
