Well because its cost alot of big bucks to have it on that system. i think Namoco doesn't want spend big bucks on a Godzilla Game which they don't think they will make up the money once they sell it. well they could just do PS4 Right? But it does still Cost tons of money to do it on PS4. So i think that is the reason why no Future Platforms or you could just say no new ones.. you can tell that they launching only on PS2 is that they r not willing spend money on Playstation 3 even. But this is my theory. But i find this dissapointing and think they should go all out for 60 Annivasary but its whatever. -Joshua Hopkins

And in japan the x box(both 360 and one) have little to no value there and the ps4 has yet to catch fire over there just yet. As of now the real big platforms over there are the ps3 and the wii u(could be wrong about wii u).

The game has been repeatedly confirmed to be a PS3 exclusive. Unless Namco miraculously changes its tune, there will be no Wii U or Xbox versions. There are still a ton of PS3 exclusive games being released both here and in Japan, which cater to people who don't have the money to upgrade to a PS4. Two complelety Assassin's Creed games are being released nearly simultaniously, one just for the PS3, and one for the PS4. Of course, those games are, I believe, getting various Xbox releases as well, but each is catering to a particular consol generation. This PS3 exclusive thing for the Godzilla game is unfortunate, but not unprecidented. Perhaps if it wells well, it will be ported to another system.
